A liquid dispensing apparatus for dispensing water and a flavored beverage. The dispensing apparatus may dispense chilled drinking water, hot drinking water and/or ambient temperature drinking water. The dispensing apparatus may further dispense a chilled, ambient temperature and/or hot flavored beverage. The flavored beverage may be coffee, tea, hot chocolate or another flavored beverage. The dispensing apparatus may include a replaceable five (5) gallon water bottle stored in a lower portion of the dispensing apparatus or an external source of water. Preferably, the liquid dispensing apparatus dispenses chilled drinking water and hot coffee from a replaceable five (5) gallon water bottle stored in a lower portion of the dispensing apparatus wherein the replaceable five (5) gallon water bottle is stored in an upright orientation, i.e., the discharge port of the replaceable five (5) gallon water bottle is oriented above a bottom of the replaceable five (5) gallon water bottle.

A dispenser configured to simultaneously dispenses a plurality of liquid retaining members from a plurality of different areas of the dispenser. Preferably, the liquid retaining members are drinking cups. Preferably, the dispenser is configured to simultaneously dispense a first stack of a plurality of drinking cups and a second stack of a plurality of drinking cups from corresponding ends of the dispensers. The dispenser includes a body having a first end and a second end. The first end has a first opening through which drinking cups in the first stack of a plurality of drinking cups can be individually dispensed one after the other. The second end has a second opening through which drinking cups in the second stack of drinking cups can be individually dispensed one after the other. Preferably, at least one biasing member biases the first stack of a plurality of drinking cups towards the first end of the body and biases the second stack of a plurality of drinking cups towards the second end of the body.

Double ended cup dispenser

A pump is disclosed, with a casing comprising a substantially circular body having at least two radial inlets, at least one peripheral outlet and a transversal aperture. The casing further comprises a substantially circular impeller mounted within the body for rotation about the aperture. The impeller has a substantially uninterrupted sinusoidal profile. A pumping system and a method of pumping are also disclosed, which use the pump configuration.

Pumping device

A fully recyclable valve housing for engagement with a neck of a container, such as a beer keg, has an inner port for liquid and a concentric outer port for pressurized gas, with openings for admitting pressurized gas into the container. A dip tube is connected to a bottom end fitting, communicating with a valve stem within the valve housing. A valve member controls flow through the concentric ports, and a spring element located about the valve stem urges the valve member upwards to close the ports. The spring element is molded from a resilient polymeric material and comprises a plurality of C-shaped sections angularly arranged in two interconnected stacks on opposite sides of the valve stem such that movement of the valve member causes concurrent resilient deformation of all the sections.

Recyclable valve closure for keg

A container such as a beer keg includes a container bodyand top and bottom chimes. The container body has a peripheral side wallprovided with a plurality of circumferentially-spaced projections which are formed with the container body by a simple pressing or molding operation. Each chime is formed with a peripheral skirtwhich fits over the peripheral side wall and a co-operating inner lip which snap-engages over the circumferentially-spaced projections. In a plastics container, the contents of the container tend to press against the projections and resist any tendency to distortion in normal use and therefore increase the strength of the attachment. In the case of the top chimethe skirtis joined to an inner hubwhich is additionally fixed to the container neckby means of a valve assemblywhich is screwed onto the neck. A capprevents unscrewing of the valve assemblyand provides immediate evidence of tampering.

There is disclosed a method of simulating the output of a medical imaging device, the medical imaging device being operable to image an anatomical structure, and the method including: accessing model data representing a model of the anatomical structure; accessing selection data representing a selected region of the anatomical structure to be imaged; and processing the selection data and the model data to generate output data representing a simulation of the output of the medical imaging device when imaging the selected region.

Medical training method and apparatus

A replaceable flow assembly for use in a water cooler or similar bottled liquid dispenser includes a liquid reservoirand a manifoldincorporating a bottle connectorfor releasable sealing engagement with a neck formed on an inverted bottle. The manifold is mounted on the reservoir and incorporates a first pathway for conducting liquid from a feed tubeto the reservoir, and a second pathway for conducting liquid from the reservoir to a discharge outlet. A third pathway within the manifold conducts atmospheric air through an air filterand into the interior of the bottle through the feed tubewithout passing through the reservoir. The manifold preferably also incorporates a dispense valve between the reservoirand the discharge outlet(e.g. in arm), which co-operates with a fixed valve-operating member within the dispenser.
