The disclosure presents systems and methods for hot swapping pumps at a wellsite while minimizing the impact to the pumping operations. As one pump is swapped out, such as for maintenance, the remaining pumps in the set of pumps at the wellsite can continue pumping operations. In some aspects, the pumps can be arranged around a central open area where the manifold pipes are located on the outside perimeter. This arrangement allows for a pump moving apparatus to remove and locate pumps at various positions around the perimeter while minimizing movement and minimizing the time the pump moving apparatus spends off of matting. The pump moving apparatus can be shielded with a protective barrier to protect the equipment or user from discharges from other pumps that are under high pressure.

Continuous pumping operations using central pump area

A bulk material dispensing system comprising a portable support structure with portable containers with wet bulk material. Locating each portable container onto the portable support structure couples a transfer member on each portable container to a vibration device on the support structure. Vibration energy is transferred from vibration device to the portable container via the transfer member. The material dispensing system is configured to route the wet bulk material from the portable container to a blender hopper via a material routing path in response to activating the vibration device.

Method of moving proppant from a sand container

Disclosed embodiments may relate to pumps for introducing treatment fluid into a well. For example, a piston-driven bellows pump may include a power end, having a piston disposed in a power end bore; a fluid end, having a fluid end bore and a chamber in fluid communication with a suction valve and a discharge valve; and an expandable bellows disposed in the chamber and in fluid communication with the fluid end bore. In embodiments, the power end can be configured to reciprocally expand and contract the bellows within the chamber based on movement of fluid by the piston. In embodiments, the power end bore and the fluid end bore may be fluidly coupled to form a unitary, continuous, and/or unbroken pump bore without external piping therebetween and/or without unswept volume therebetween. Related methods are also disclosed.

Direct connect piston-driven bellows pump

Exemplary systems for introducing treatment fluid into a well can include a bellows pump and a make-up system configured to maintain a controlled volume of fluid between the piston and the bellows of the bellows pump. The make-up system can be fluidly coupled to the bellows and to at least one additional component of the system. In embodiments, the make-up system can be configured to receive heat via circulation of fluid with the at least one additional component of the system, and to discharge heat via circulation of the fluid with the bellows, for example with the bellows conducting heat from the fluid to the treatment fluid for heat discharge.

Systems and methods using a bellows pump to perform operations for a subterranean formation

The disclosure provides for a wellbore servicing system that comprises an engine operable to provide power to one or more pumps. The one or more pumps are operable to direct a fluid into a wellbore, wherein the engine is coupled to the one or more pumps via a transmission. The system further comprises an engine control module (ECM) coupled to the engine. The system further comprises a controller coupled to the one or more pumps and operable to determine the volumetric efficiency of each of the one or more pumps. The system further comprises an information handling system, wherein the ECM and the controller are communicatively coupled to the information handling system, wherein the information handling system is operable to determine a divergence when a load is placed on the engine and a pumping plan for the system.

Engine condition and control through the use of a pump as a dynamometer

A gaseous fuel supply for an engine at a wellbore can be regulated using a control system. The control system can include a processing device communicatively coupled to one or more sensors to receive a fuel property measurement from the one or more sensors. The fuel property measurement can correspond to a first fuel source of the engine that can be used as the fuel supply for the engine to power an equipment to perform a wellsite operation. Additionally, the processing device can identify a predefined range of the fuel supply that corresponds to a target performance level of the engine. Based on the fuel property measurement, the processing device can determine that the first fuel source is outside of the predefined range. In response, the processing device can provide a second fuel source as the fuel supply. The second fuel source can enable the engine to operate at the target performance level.

Control system for regulating a gaseous fuel supply to an engine at a wellbore

A reserve fuel system can be used to supplement fuel provided to an engine of wellsite equipment. For example, a fuel supply line can transport gaseous fuel at a wellsite to an engine of an equipment coupled to the fuel supply line. A reserve fuel tank can store gaseous fuel diverted from the fuel supply line. The reserve fuel tank can include a first valve coupling a first end of the reserve fuel tank to the fuel supply line to divert the gaseous fuel and a second valve coupling a second end of the reserve fuel tank to the engine. The second valve can be in a closed position to prevent the stored gaseous fuel from transferring to the engine or an open position to transfer the stored gaseous fuel to the engine. A control system can adjust the second valve based on a pressure of the fuel supply line.

Reserve fuel system for wellsite equipment

The disclosure presents systems and methods for hot swapping pumps at a wellsite while minimizing the impact to the pumping operations. As one pump is swapped out, such as for maintenance, the remaining pumps in the set of pumps at the wellsite can continue pumping operations. In some aspects, the swapping of pumps can be performed by a user using a protection barrier to isolate the pump location where the pumps will be swapped. In some aspects, one or more of the steps to swap pumps can be performed through automation thereby minimizing danger to a user. In some aspects, the pump being located at the pump system can be primed and pressure tested prior to be located to improve the time to enable the pump for pumping operations.

Continuous pumping operations using decoupled pump maintenance

A modular skid-based system to provide treatment or competition operations at a well includes a main skid configured to be positioned on a trailer or ground in proximity to the well. A first modular skid is positioned on the main skid and includes a first primary system and a first support system. A second modular skid is positioned on the main skid and includes a second primary system and a second support system. At least one of the second primary system and the second support system is coupled to at least one of the first primary system and the first support system. The first modular skid, the first primary system and the first support system are removable as a whole from the main skid without removing the second modular skid, the second primary system or the second support system.

Modular skid-based system and method to provide treatment or completion operations at a well

The disclosure provides a method and system for extracting carbon dioxide from an exhaust gas. The method includes lowering a temperature of an exhaust gas using a heat exchanger, lowering a concentration of a particulate matter within the lowered temperature exhaust gas, and passing the lowered particulate concentration and lowered temperature exhaust gas through one or more membrane modules to produce a membrane module permeate flow that contains a higher concentration of carbon dioxide compared to a concentration of carbon dioxide in the lowered particulate concentration and lowered temperature exhaust gas. Further, the system includes a heat exchanger fluidly coupled to a particulate filter that is configured to lower a concentration of the particulate matter within the exhaust gas, and one or more membrane modules fluidly coupled to the particulate filter and configured to produce the membrane module permeate flow.

Systems and methods for capturing carbon dioxide in exhaust gas

A positionable exhaust apparatus with an exhaust outlet having a first bore extending along a length of the exhaust outlet. The first bore having a longitudinal axis extending the length thereof and an exhaust outlet tip coupled to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip having a second bore with at least a portion of the second bore substantially aligned with the first bore of the exhaust outlet. An actuator coupled with the exhaust outlet and the exhaust outlet tip with at least a portion of the exhaust outlet tip to rotate the exhaust outlet tip relative to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip rotatable three hundred and sixty degrees about the longitudinal axis of the exhaust outlet.

Well site noise control

Undetected emissions may damage devices at a work site and pose a safety hazard to the surrounding environment. A method of control based on predictive emissions detection is disclosed. The method uses sensors coupled to work site equipment to identify devices and regions of a work site that may be affected by adverse conditions. Detection of such emissions may allow the system or operator to shut down or otherwise act on equipment before any harm is done to the device or personnel in the area.
