Disclosed embodiments include a complete system and platform which allows for continuous monitoring of movement disorders during normal daily activities in the clinic, home, and other normal daily environments. System and apparatus for continuous monitoring of movement disorders

A system and method of tracking physical activity of a person in order to help motivate that person to add more exercise to their lives. Each participant is provided a motion sensor that detects forces incurred by the participant. The motion sensor creates electronic data that corresponds to the forces detected. The data is analyzed to determine whether or not exercise has been performed. The analysis can also determine the type of exercise performed, when the exercise was performed, and the duration of the exercise performed.

System and method for promoting and tracking physical activity among a participating group of individuals

Disclosed embodiments include a movement monitoring apparatus comprising a wireless synchronization scheme. Depending on the particular embodiment such wireless synchronization scheme is a master synchronization scheme or a mesh synchronization scheme. Additionally, in a particular embodiment, the movement monitor further comprises a robust wireless data transfer data controller. The disclosure includes a description of the complete system, namely, the wireless synchronized movement monitors with robust data transfer capabilities, the docking station, the access point, and the computer-implemented analysis system.

The invention provides methods, therapeutics and kits for treating and preventing diseases or conditions associated with excessive lipolysis, in particular TNF-&#x3b1; induced lipolysis, and/or excessive free fatty acid levels.
