A steerable sheath includes an inner liner extending from a proximal to a distal end of the steerable sheath. The inner liner includes a non-deflectable portion and a deflectable portion. The steerable sheath includes a first pull wire positioned along a first helical path around the circumference of the inner liner from a proximal to a distal end of the non-deflectable portion and along a first straight path from a proximal to a distal end of the deflectable portion. The steerable sheath includes a second pull wire positioned along a second helical path around the circumference of the inner liner from the proximal to the distal end of the non-deflectable portion and along a second straight path from the proximal to the distal end of the deflectable portion. The steerable sheath may also include electrode wires present in a helical or spiral pattern around the circumference of the steerable sheath.

Torqueable steerable sheaths

A catheter tip is disclosed comprising a tip electrode comprising a ledge feature, and a center cavity and a manifold assembly comprising a fluid lumen manifold and a stop tube. The stop tube can be coupled to the fluid lumen manifold and configured to abut the ledge feature such that a distal end of the fluid lumen manifold extends a pre-determined distance into the center cavity of the tip electrode. The fluid lumen manifold can comprise a plurality of sideholes which can be sized and configured to distribute an irrigant to the tip electrode. The catheter tip can comprise a flexible tip electrode.

Flex tip fluid lumen assembly with termination tube

A modular multi-electrode structure for use with an electrophysiology device includes a plurality of interconnected, non-conductive, tubular substrates. Each non-conductive, tubular substrate includes an outer surface and a conductor disposed on the outer surface, as well as at least one signal conductor extending along a length of the interconnected plurality of non-conductive tubular substrates. The conductor disposed on the outer surface of each non-conductive tubular substrate is in electrical communication with the at least one signal conductor. In some embodiments, the plurality of non-conductive tubular substrates includes a plurality of non-conductive polymeric substrates. In alternative embodiments, the plurality of non-conductive tubular substrates includes a plurality of non-conductive, unitary molded cylinders.

Electrophysiology catheter with modular electrode structure

A catheter includes an elongate shaft, an electrode assembly, a connective stem, a coupler, a first magnetic position sensor, and a second magnetic position sensor. The electrode assembly includes microelectrodes. The connective stem includes a first connective stem member and a second connective stem member. The connective stem defines a first sensor receptacle and a second sensor receptacle in an exterior surface of the connective stem. The coupler is configured for coupling with the connective stem. The first magnetic position sensor is disposed in the first sensor receptacle and elongated along a first sensor longitudinal axis. The second magnetic position sensor disposed in the second sensor receptacle and elongated along a second sensor longitudinal axis that is not parallel to the first sensor longitudinal axis.

Irrigated high density electrode catheter

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a medical device straightener. The medical device straightener can comprise an elongate shaft extending along a shaft longitudinal axis, the elongate shaft including a shaft proximal end and a shaft distal end, wherein a shaft inner wall of the elongate shaft defines a shaft lumen extending therethrough. The medical device straightener can comprise a bleedback valve that includes an outer circumferential surface. The bleedback valve can be disposed at a distal end of the elongate shaft, within the shaft lumen, wherein a portion of the outer circumferential surface is in communication with the shaft inner wall. The bleedback valve can define a radially expandable lumen longitudinally extending through a center of the bleedback valve.

Catheter insertion devices

An irrigated high density electrode catheter can comprise a catheter shaft. The catheter shaft can include a proximal end and a distal end and can define a catheter shaft longitudinal axis. A flexible tip portion can be located adjacent to the distal end of the catheter shaft. An irrigated coupler can be disposed on the distal end of the catheter shaft and can be configured to discharge fluid over the flexible tip portion.

An intermediate inboard covering can be disposed about the first continuous element that forms a distal portion of the inboard understructure. An outboard understructure can extend along the tip longitudinal axis, wherein the outboard understructure can be formed from a second continuous element that includes a second rectangular cross-section. An intermediate outboard covering can be disposed about the second continuous element that forms a distal portion of the outboard understructure.

The instant disclosure relates generally to a tip electrode for delivering irrigant to a distal portion of the tip electrode and irrigated catheter tips incorporating such a tip electrode. The distal portion of the tip electrode can have additional fluid ports on the distal edge of the tip to provide additional fluid flow to that region.

Flexible electrode tip with halo irrigation

Various embodiments of the present disclosure can include a medical device assembly. The medical device assembly can comprise an elongate hollow cylindrical body that extends along a longitudinal axis. A distal cap portion can extend along the longitudinal axis. A proximal end of the distal cap portion can be connected to a distal end of the elongate hollow cylindrical body. A wire management port can be defined in the distal cap portion.

A catheter tip is disclosed comprising a proximal stem that comprises a lumen. An electrode wall that comprises a center cavity can be coupled to the distal end of the proximal stem. An electrode cap can be coupled to a distal end of the electrode wall. An elongate thermocouple element can extend through the lumen of the proximal stem and the center cavity and can be coupled to the electrode cap. The elongate thermocouple element can be turned around a portion of a longitudinal axis defined by the catheter tip assembly.
