Data migrations are not able to be identified or traced through a switched network to their originating hub, because the corresponding TCP/IP data stream goes through a plurality of optimized differential switches and the originating IP in the packet header gets replaced at each switch. The present invention provides a mechanism to introduce a lag or a jitter into the IP to label the migrated data. The labeled data are able to be traced and identified through multiple managed hubs and/or switches.

Provided is a method, computer program product, and system for adjusting a container-based application. A processor may receive one or more function calls at a container-based application. The processor may process the one or more function calls using the container-based application. The processor may obtain performance data from the container-based application based on the processing of the one or more function calls. The processor may analyze the performance data against a performance measure limit. The processor may adjust an aspect of the container-based application based on the analysis of the performance data. The aspect may be one or more selected from the group consisting of a resource and a functionality of the contain-based application.

A computer-implemented method includes: monitoring, by a computing device, computing resource utilization by a plurality of virtual computing components sharing a same kernel; monitoring, by the computing device, transaction counts produced by the plurality of virtual computing components; determining, by the computing device, that the transaction counts increase by less than a threshold number as the computing resource utilization increases; and creating, by the computing device, an additional virtual computing component on a separate kernel based on determining that the transaction counts increase by less than a threshold number as the computing resource utilization increases.

Detecting and counteracting a multiprocessor effect in a virtual computing environment

An approach is provided that selects a geographic location to which transmission of a data packet is disallowed. The approach identifies disallowed network devices that reside in the selected geographic location and builds a routing path through a public computer network through an allowed set of network devices with the allowed set of network devices not including any of the disallowed network devices. The approach then transmits the data packet from a transmitting network device to a receiving network device using the routing path.

Ensuring data locality for secure transmission of data

A method and system for issuing medical alerts that includes receiving permission from a user to register the user with a medical alert system. With permission from the user, registering includes setting a medical history for a baseline of the user, and linking the system with a wearable device including a light source for signaling changes in the users medical condition. The method also includes linking a monitoring device to the medical alert system; and measuring changes in the health status of the user with the monitoring device. In some embodiments, the method further includes determining with a cognitive risk evaluating engine of the medical alert system a level of medical alert provided by a setting of the light source that corresponds the users health. The method can further include illuminating the light source at the level of the medical alert designed by the cognitive risk evaluating engine for signaling the changes in the users medical condition.

Cognitive analysis of biosensor data

A method includes creating a digital twin that represents a computing infrastructure, the digital twin representing all microcode versions present in components in the computing infrastructure. The method further includes creating a database of a plurality of upgrades including at least one microcode version update and a corresponding criticality of each of the plurality of updates and emulating a first deployment of a first set of one or more of the plurality of updates with the digital twin.
