A method and quantum computing device for preempting a quantum program. A first quantum circuit is executed by a quantum processor to process a first job of the quantum program for a number of shots, where the number of shots defines how many times a quantum circuit is to be repeatedly executed. The execution of the first quantum circuit to process the first job is then preempted, such as to allow a higher priority and/or shorter-running job to be processed. Upon preempting the execution of the first quantum circuit, the quantum processor executes a second quantum circuit to process a second job (e.g., higher priority and/or shorter-running job to be processed). Upon completion or preemption of the execution of the second quantum circuit to process the second job, the quantum processor completes the execution of the first quantum circuit to process the first job.

Preempting a quantum program in a quantum computing device

Embodiments are provided for centralized control of execution of a quantum program. In some embodiments, a system can include a processor that executes computer-executable components stored in memory. The computer-executable components include a synchronization component that causes multiple controller devices remotely located relative to the system to be synchronized with one another and the system. The computer-executable components also include an ingestion component that accesses measurement data resulting from one or more measurements at respective qubit devices. The computer-executable components further include a composition component that generates, using the measurement data, one or more control messages for respective second controller devices of the multiple controller devices.

Centralized control of execution of quantum program

Techniques facilitating quick waveform revisions following quantum system calibrations. In one example, a system can comprise a processor that executes computer executable components stored in memory. The computer executable components comprise: a calibration component; and a regeneration component. The calibration component can identify a parameter of a directed graph changed by a calibration of a quantum system that occurs after generation of the directed graph. The regeneration component can revise the directed graph based on the identified parameter to generate an updated directed graph.

Techniques for quickly revising waveforms following calibration of a quantum system

Techniques for quantum data post-processing are provided. In one example, a system includes a quantum programming component and a post-processing component. The quantum programming component receives quantum output data that includes a set of quantum results for a quantum circuit in response to simulation of the quantum circuit. The post-processing component adjusts the quantum output data associated with the quantum circuit based on client system data indicative of information for a client system that consumes the quantum output data.

A method includes provisioning, by a cloud provisioning server, a first instance based on a template. The template belongs to a tenant, and the first instance includes one of an instantiated software and an instantiated computing service. The method also includes determining a prefix. The determined prefix is shared by a second instance that is also provisioned based on the template of the tenant. The method also includes generating a name for the first provisioned instance. The generated name includes the determined prefix.

In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method may include: collecting runtime workload data for a workload executing on a processing system; collecting performance data for the workload within a container; performing, by a processing device, a determination of whether the runtime workload data satisfies the goal set forth in the service level agreement; providing data from within the container in a format utilized by an application program interface; and accessing the data from within the container through the application program interface from outside of the container.

Resources used by the configured tenant are not shared with tenants of the second cloud domain.

Examples of techniques for resource sharing management of a field programmable device are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method may include: selecting a job belonging to one of a plurality of tenants based on resource control; dispatching a job to the field programmable device, wherein the job is received at a processing device, and wherein the job comprises dispatchable units; performing, by the field programmable device, the dispatchable units belonging to the job; and tracking, by the processing device, processing statistics related to each of the plurality of virtual processing devices based on performing the dispatchable units belong to the job.

Examples of techniques for utilizing a field programmable device binary to perform a workload are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method may include: calling an application program interface to perform a workload; determining, by a processing device, using dynamic characteristics of the workload and a workload environment, whether the workload should be processed by a field programmable device or a software library running on the general purpose processing device; responsive to determining to process the job by the field programmable device, deploying the job to the field programmable device; and responsive to determining to process the job by a software library running on the general purpose processing device, deploying the job to the software library.

A method includes configuring, by a cloud provisioning server, a first user identity to execute a provisioning to provision an instance. The instance to be provisioned includes one of an instantiated software resource and a computing service. The provisioning is executed under the first user identity, and the second user identity has provided approval of the provisioning.
