A safety cap for use with a needleless connector. The safety cap includes a body configured to at least partially enclose a head of the needleless connector (NC). The body is configured to achieve a first configuration that can be securely sealed to the NC and a second configuration that cannot be securely sealed to the NC. The second configuration is different from the first configuration. The safety cap also includes a detent in communication with the body which is configured to prevent the body from transitioning from the second configuration back to the first configuration.

Single use safety cap for use with needleless connectors

The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device. The medicament delivery device comprises a housing, a dispensing mechanism and an actuator. The housing has first and second portions. The dispensing mechanism comprises a reservoir disposed in the housing. The dispensing mechanism is operable to dispense medicament from the reservoir when the reservoir contains medicament. The first portion of the housing comprises a distal end and the second portion is moveable towards the distal end from an initial position to a primed position. The dispensing mechanism is rendered inoperable when the second portion is in the initial portion. The actuator is actuatable to operate the dispensing mechanism when the second portion is in the primed position.

Medicament delivery device

The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device comprising a housing, a reservoir for medicament disposed in the housing and a dispensing member. The dispensing member is moveable relative to the housing from a first position to a second position to dispense medicament from the reservoir when the reservoir contains medicament. The medicament delivery device further comprises first and second biasing members. The first biasing member is configured to urge the dispensing member from the first position to an intermediate position. The second biasing member is configured to urge the dispensing member from the intermediate position to the second position.

A medicament delivery device includes a device housing for placing on skin of a patient, the device housing including a needle aperture; a needle for injecting 5 a medicament, the needle arranged to pass through the needle aperture; and sensors configured to provide a signal when the device housing is placed on the skin of the patient. The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device. The medicament delivery device comprises a housing, a needle and a reservoir. The needle is configured to project from a distal end of the housing. The reservoir is disposed in the housing and has a flexible wall. A single use cap for connectors and corresponding method of use. The single use cap has a carrier with a body including a base that defines an opening separated from an end wall by a side wall. The opening leads into a cavity sized to receive a connector head. The single use cap also has an elastomeric sleeve releasably coupled to the carrier to span the opening. The elastomeric sleeve is configured to be transferred to the connector upon insertion of the head through the opening and at least partially into the cavity.

The present disclosure relates to a medicament delivery device. The medicament delivery device includes a needle for delivering a medicament and an insertion mechanism configured to urge the needle in a first direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the needle. The insertion mechanism includes a driving mechanism and a cam. The driving mechanism is configured to exert a force in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The cam is coupled to the needle and is configured to receive a force from the driving mechanism and move in the first direction in response to the received force.

The system has an infusion assembly, a rotating pivot joint member, a fluid connector assembly, and a sealing assembly retained within the infusion assembly between the housing of the infusion assembly and the rotating pivot joint member. The seal reduces leakage of fluids. The rotating joint may be pivoted to three distinct positions to allow for emplacement on the patient, delivery of the therapeutic fluid to the patient, and protected, sealed closure of the fluid channels to avoid patient fluid backflow.
