A multipurpose tool for flight attendants includes a telescopic arm on which two handle elements are articulated at opposite ends, which handle elements can be folded in so as to lie adjacent to one another. By folding the handle elements apart and extending the telescopic arm, the multipurpose tool can be used in a variety of ways. A passenger seat has a backrest and a seat which has first and second sections each having a first surface for a seat area and a second opposite surface. The second section pivots relative to the first section between a first position, in which the first surfaces of the first and second sections form a usable total seat area, and a second operational position, in which the second section is folded relative to the first section in the direction towards the backrest. The idea of the present invention is that an airfreight container according to the invention, which is designed especially for an unpressurized cargo hold of an aircraft, comprises an airtight and pressure-tight container housing with a container interior space for accommodating airfreight goods. This airfreight container furthermore comprises an internal compressed air generating device which is designed for independently generating compressed air for supplying the container interior space with compressed air. The concept according to the invention of an at least partly autonomous airfreight container, which is created as a result, provides that the airfreight container according to the invention, in addition to the pure bundling of goods, now provides, moreover, different supply systems, such as the device for compressed air generation and compressed air provision, corresponding to the specific requirements. The particular advantage of this solution according to the invention is that cargo aircraft now do not have to provide supply systems, or have to provide at least a significantly reduced number of supply systems, in their cargo hold, and all further functions are now fulfilled by the airfreight container itself when required. The invention also refers to such an aircraft.

A floor system for a fuselage section of an aircraft is provided. The floor system has an essentially self-supporting design and is substantially mechanically separate from the fuselage section as primary structure. Consequent to the free or self-supporting design of the floor system in the fuselage cell, the layout of the floor system along an aircraft axis can be matched to customer specifications in a simple manner without reference to structural boundary conditions of the fuselage structure. A floor surface for the floor system is formed from a number of floor elements which can be fitted with functional elements, wherein filling of empty spaces or cavities can be achieved with a number of floor equalization elements. As the floor elements have a relatively large support or fixing surface the loads induced by the functional elements are introduced into the floor system distributed over a large area such that the structural components thereof can be of a structurally lighter and thus weight-saving size.

A folding seat for an aircraft has a backrest, a seat area and an armrest. The seat area is pivotable. When the seat area is pivoted, the armrest is pivotable downwards, the seat area and the armrest being coupled by at least one coupling element in the form of a bevel gear.

A stowage bin arrangement for fastening a stowage bin for an aircraft, includes a stowage bin unit with a first direction of extension. The stowage bin unit may be fastened to an aircraft structure and be designed such that the stowage bin unit is capable of being telescopically extended along the first direction of extension.

The present invention relates to a seat device for an aircraft. The seat device comprises a seat installation and a shell structure. In this arrangement the inside of the shell structure comprises an enclosed stowage space, wherein the shell structure is designed to attach the seat installation to a floor structure. In this arrangement the enclosed stowage space is designed to accommodate an item of baggage.

A flight passenger seat for an airplane. The flight passenger seat may comprise a back element, a seat element and an arm rest. The seat element, back element, and arm rest may be pivotable. Reset elements for an automatic pivoting may be integrated into the back element and the seat element in such a way that they occupy as little traffic area space as possible. In an advantageous manner, this allows for an enlargement of a traffic area in an airplane and thereby may effectuate a reduction of a 'turn around' time of an airplane.

To save space it is often not possible to provide a comfortable seat beside a bed, for example for a second flightdeck crew. Normally, sitting on a bed is not comfortable for extended periods of time. The present invention states a backrest arrangement which can be changed from a foldaway position to a seating position. The backrest arrangement can be hinged to a wall. In foldaway position, the distance between a lower region of the backrest and the essentially vertical surface is shorter than in the seating position. In this way the backrest arrangement can for example be attached to a wall beside a bed; in the seating position the backrest arrangement provides a comfortable and safe seat.

The present application describes a chassis for an air passenger seat for an aircraft. According to one exemplary embodiment, the chassis has at least two first lateral parts, and a first and a second spar. The second spar is implemented in the foot region of the air passenger seat and, in addition to its supporting function, ensures baggage is secured. The assumption of additional objects by the chassis construction advantageously allows an air passenger seat to be manufactured with minimum material outlay and therefore weight outlay.

The seat bottom can be folded down from a first near vertical position (I) into a second near horizontal position (II).
