A method, system and apparatus for inter-parties network computing. A policy management method can include establishing a set of policy terms for receiving content from a content provider based upon preferences selected by a content recipient externally to the content recipient and content provider. The method further can include enforcing the policy terms externally to the content recipient and content provider for content provided by the content provider for receipt by the content recipient. Notably, the establishing step can include mapping the selected preferences to the set of policy terms. The establishing step also can include exposing an interface to the content recipient, and accepting the selected preferences through the interface.

A computer-implemented method of processing a plurality of events within a calendar application can include receiving a user input specifying a period of time within a calendar associated with a user, detecting a plurality of events occurring within the period of time, and determining at least one attribute for each of the plurality of events. An event clearing technique can be selected for each of the plurality of events according to the at least one attribute of each respective event. The specified time period can be cleared by executing the selected event clearing technique for each of the plurality of events, wherein an updated calendar is generated. The updated calendar can be output.

In one embodiment, the invention can include a data processing system including a set of user interface controls and control data including a set of cumulative selection metrics for each user interface control in the set. Each user interface control in the set, in turn, can include a label and an indicator of cumulative metrics for the user interface control. For instance, the set of user interface controls can include a set of radio buttons in a radio button control group. The method can include selecting a node in an object hierarchy in an object browser and, responsive to selecting the node, displaying content for the selected node and content for at least one node below the selected node in the object browser.

A contextual organization chart based on two selected individuals is constructed from a database of individual names, manager names, and profiles. Awareness data is provided for people in the organization, a people awareness indicator and a nesting control indicator are appended to names in the constructed view. A user may access profile data by selecting a name in the view, expand the view to show additional individuals by selecting a nesting control indicator, or initiate a communication with an individual by selecting an awareness indicator.
