Systems including a provisional tibial prosthesis system are disclosed. The provisional system can include a tibial component, a base component, and a shim component. The tibial component can have a proximal surface and a distal surface, the distal surface can be configured to seat on a resected proximal surface of a tibia. The base component can have a proximal surface and can be configured to couple with the tibial component when disposed on the proximal surface thereof. The shim component can have a proximal surface and a distal surface. The proximal surface can be configured as an articulating surface sized and shaped to articulate with a femoral prosthesis and the distal surface can be configured to couple with the base component at the proximal surface thereof.

Bearing trial system

A patient-specific augment can be attached to an implant component for a bone of a joint of a patient. The patient-specific augment has first and second surfaces. The first surface is a three-dimensional patient-specific surface that closely matches and can mate to a substantially unaltered and unresected surface of a bone defect of the specific patient only in one position. The second surface is designed to engage a non-custom surface of the implant.

Patient-specific augments

A knee prosthesis system constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure can include a femoral component, a tibial component, a first femoral component insert, a second femoral component insert, a first tibial bearing, and a second tibial bearing. The knee prosthesis system may be configured in one of a non-hinged configuration and a second hinged configuration. In the first non-hinged configuration, the first femoral component insert is positioned relative to the femoral component and the first tibial bearing is positioned onto the tibial component. In the second hinged configuration, the second femoral component insert is positioned relative to the femoral component and the second tibial bearing is positioned onto the tibial component.

Knee prosthesis systems and methods

A knee replacement system including a first tibial baseplate, a second tibial baseplate, and an intercondylar bridge member. Each one of the first and second tibial baseplates includes a bone engaging surface and a bearing engaging surface opposite to the bone engaging surface. Each one of the first and second tibial baseplates also includes a first baseplate coupling portion and a second baseplate coupling portion. The first baseplate coupling portion is configured to couple with the intercondylar bridge member for coupling the second tibial baseplate to the first tibial baseplate. The second baseplate coupling portion is configured to couple an insert to the first and second tibial baseplates.

Spectrum knee

An osteotomy method includes attaching a patient-specific osteotomy guide to a corresponding surface of a tibia of a patient and making an osteotomy at a patient-specific orientation through a resection slot of the osteotomy guide. The osteotomy guide is removed and first and second faces of the osteotomy are opened to form an implant insertion angle. The first and second faces of the osteotomy are secured at the implant insertion angle and an osteotomy implant having a patient-specific wedge angle that is smaller than the implant insertion angle is implanted. The first and second faces of the osteotomy are brought to the patient-specific wedge angle and in contact with the osteotomy implant.

Patient-specific osteotomy devices and methods

An implant operable to alter morphology of a long bone can comprise a first longitudinal member, a second longitudinal member, and an adjusting member. The first longitudinal member can have a bone attachment end and a first connecting end. The second longitudinal member can have a second bone attachment end and a second connecting end. The adjusting member can connect to both of the first and second connecting ends. The adjusting member can be selectively moveable from a first implanted position where the first and second connecting ends are fixed to respective ends of the long bone and spaced apart a first distance to a second implanted position where the first and second connecting ends are fixed to the respective ends of the long bone and spaced apart a second distance. The second distance is less than the first distance causing a long bone to be compressed between the first and second bone attachment ends.
