The described invention provides a system and method for clinical outcome tracking and analysis. The clinical outcome tracking and analysis comprises sorting, outcome tracking, quality of life metrics, toxicity to therapy and cost of care. The system and method includes receiving one or more parameters. Exemplary parameters for sorting include sex, age, ethnicity, comorbidities, tobacco use, source of insurance, medical record number, primary care physician, referring physician, hospital, approved service vendors, disease-specific clinical molecular phenotype, therapy intent, stage of therapy, biomarkers, and cost of care. A plurality of patient medical records are sorted, by a clinical outcome tracking and analysis module executed by a processor, to provide a set of patient medical records satisfying the one or more parameters. A nodal address, indicating one or more variables, is applied to the sorted set of patient medical records to determine a clinically relevant set of patient medical records as the sorted set of patient medical records satisfying the one or more variables. The clinically relevant set of patient medical records is analyzed. A communication is transmitted based on the analyzing to a user to effect treatment, to monitor performance, or to reduce at least one of treatment variability, waste or inefficiency while delivering on intended outcome.

Clinical outcome tracking and analysis

The described invention provides methods for detecting, diagnosing and treating low-grade ovarian cancer and stage I ovarian cancer by comparing results from serum and ovarian tissue samples with normal controls. An increased level of expression of serine protease, wherein the serine protease is at least 2 selected from the group consisting of kallikrein 6 (KLK6), kallikrein 7 (KLK7), and PRSS8, expressed by subject samples compared to the level of expression of serine protease expressed by normal control samples is indicative of possible early stage ovarian cancer in the subject. Once early stage (I/II) ovarian cancer is diagnosed, the subject is treated with a treatment regimen effective to treat the early stage (I/II) ovarian cancer.

Serine proteases as biomarkers for ovarian cancer

The described invention provides methods for irradiating skin cancer cells, such as melanoma cells, at a high radiation rate (e.g., of 2,400 mu/min) and a modest total dose (e.g., of 0.5 Gy) to treat skin cancer or induce apoptosis in skin cancer cells. The described invention provides a method, system and non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer program instructions for enabling a patient with a condition to optimize treatment options based on geography, clinical outcome, cost and other patient-set criteria. Computer program instructions when executed on a processor comprising a first clinical outcome tracking and analysis module causes the first clinical outcome and tracking module to account for biological variance up front by grouping patients in the patient population, thereby effectively removing biological variance as a factor in value of care, and leaving treatment variance as a predominant factor in treatment outcome by receiving, sorting, and classifying personal health information the latter by generating and assigning a plurality of nodal addresses, each nodal address representing a discrete punctuated string of digits comprising a prefix, a middle and a suffix that each represent a set of preselected variables that partition the sorted and classified information into a clinically relevant set of information. The described invention provides for communication between the processor comprising the first clinical outcome tracking and analysis module and a client device comprising a second clinical outcome tracking and analysis module that are communicatively linked so that a nodal address is assigned and communicated to the patient along with a geographically organized list of medical professionals treating patients within the assigned nodal address. Once the patient selects a medical professional that meets one or more of geographical, cost and clinical outcome needs of the patient, the first clinical outcome and tracking analysis module is communicatively linked to a computing device at the selected medical professional's office to facilitate scheduling of an appointment. The assigned nodal address can be associated with one or more bundles of predetermined patient care services for treatment of the condition, which can provide a predetermined course of treatment, cost certainty, or both.

The described invention provides methods and regimens for treating adverse consequences of a persistent and progressive myocardial injury-due to a vascular insufficiency that occurs early or late in a subject in need thereof, and progressive myocardial injury-preventing compositions that contain a chemotactic hematopoietic stem cell product, and, optionally, an additional active agent. The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a chemotactic hematopoietic stem cell product comprising an enriched population of CD34+ cells containing a subpopulation of CD34+/CXCR-4+ cells having CXCR-4-mediated chemotactic activity, methods of preparing these compositions and use of these compositions to treat or repair vascular injury, including infarcted myocardium.
