A multipoint locking system includes a body having an upper aperture and a lower aperture therein. An upper latch pawl is disposed in the upper aperture and is pivotable about a first vertical axis between a first retracted position and a first extended position. A lower latch pawl is disposed in the lower aperture and is pivotable about a second vertical axis between a second retracted position and a second extended position. At least one actuator is configured to move the upper and lower latch pawls between their retracted and extended positions. The body can be an astragal, a vertical frame member, or the like.

A door sill assembly for an entryway of a building can include a substrate having a sill channel. A sill deck can be on the substrate. The sill deck can include a deck and a clip. In an embodiment, the sill deck and clip are a unitary construction. The clip can be operably engaged with the deck. The clip can be removably attachable to the substrate. The sill deck is capable of removable attachment from the door sill assembly before or after the door sill assembly is installed in the entryway without removal or damage to any portion of the side jambs.

A door sill assembly for an entryway of a building can include a substrate having a nosing and a sill channel. A nosing cover can be attached to the substrate and extending over at least a portion of the nosing and over at least a portion of the sill channel. A sill deck can be on the substrate. The sill deck can include a deck and a clip. In an embodiment, the sill deck and clip are a unitary construction. The deck can be engaged with a portion of the nosing cover. The clip can be operably engaged with the deck. The clip can be removably attachable to the substrate. An adjustable door sill assembly can include a threshold. A threshold cap can be on the threshold and have at least one opening formed therein. A carriage can be beneath the threshold cap and positioned proximate the at least one opening. At least one adjustment element on the carriage is capable of causing the threshold cap to move vertically with respect to the threshold. The adjustment element can be accessible through the opening on the threshold cap. A cap plug can cover the opening, the cap plug being removably attachable with the carriage.

An insulated glass window assembly including a cordless integral shade with level correction, a sliding follower, and an air permeable spacer assembly. Cords are eliminated by confining the window covering movement to one dimension. Level correction is achieved by pivotally connecting the shade bar to the supporting operator or shade support, so that the bar can be re-leveled by raising or lowering the bar against the IG spacer. The follower slides in a track on one side of the IG. The spacer includes an air passageway between the desiccant chamber and the space between IG space, and the hole is covered by an air-permeable patch to prevent unwanted leakage of desiccant into the viewable area.

Insulated glass window shade

A window assembly including a permanent frame portion, a removable frame portion, and a glazing panel sandwiched between. The frame portions are easily installed and include integral releasable connectors accessible using a thin tool inserted into a groove between the two frame portions. The removable frame portion can be removed from the permanent frame portion using a thin tool. With the removable frame portion removed, the insulated glass panel may be easily replaced.

Integral screwless window assembly

A retrofit blind assembly for a doorlight. The assembly includes a frame, a transparent panel, and a blind snap-fitted to the frame. The blind actuator includes gears and a toothed belt for positive, non-slip actuation. A pair of blind guides are mounted on the opposite sides of the frame to receive and guide the opposite ends of the blind. The mounting system includes a pair of brackets that can be secured between the doorlight and the door and upon which the assembly can be hung. The mounting system also includes a pair of movable catches on the lower portion of the frame snap that can be locked behind the doorlight to secure the lower end of the assembly.

Retrofit doorlight blind assembly

A window frame including a pair of frame halves having integral fasteners for interconnecting the frame halves. The fasteners include mating barbed connectors that interfit with one another to permanently intersecure the frame halves. The fasteners further include integral cooperating alignment pins and receivers for aligning the fasteners and hence the frame halves. The alignment pins and receivers are laterally offset from the fasteners.
