A dispenser system including a source of chemical concentrate, a source of diluent, and a mix chamber in fluid communication with the source of chemical concentrate via a first line and with the source of diluent via a second line to mix chemical concentrate and diluent to form a dilution. The dispenser system also includes one or more metering devices disposed in one or both of the first line and the second line, a discharge fluidly coupled to the mix chamber to deliver the dilution to a downstream receptacle, and a control system in communication with the one or more metering devices. The control system is programmed to adjust a concentration of chemical concentrate in the dilution via control of the one or more metering devices based on an environmental factor affecting a physical environment to be cleaned using the dilution.

Dilution adjustment system and method

A method of determining one or more operational parameters of a washing system having a wash tank to which water and material are added. In one embodiment, the method includes monitoring a concentration of material, which is decreased at least partially due to water being added to the wash tank. The method also includes maintaining the concentration of material by dispensing material into the wash tank during a material dispensing operation. Additionally, the method includes generating a parameter indicative of a rate at which the material is dispensed during the material dispensing operation. The method also includes determining a presence of a water flow abnormality based at least partially on the generated parameter.

Material delivery systems and methods

A dispensing system responds to reading data stored on a container by determining a dose for a chemical stored in that container. Then each time that the chemical is to be fed into a cleaning machine, the dispensing system operates a flow control device to deliver the designated dose. Thus the dispensing system is automatically reconfigured when different concentrations of the chemical are supplied to the dispensing system. Various mechanisms for storing the data on and reading the data from the container are described.

Automatically configurable chemical dosing apparatus for cleaning equipment

A pump system includes a peristaltic pump having a rotor, a motor and a controller. The motor is configured to drive the peristaltic pump so as to deliver a liquid product from a source to a receiving location. The controller monitors a drive current of the motor so as to track rotation of the pump's rotor. The controller counts units of rotation of the pump's rotor, and stops the motor when the counted units of rotation reach a specified target count value.

Current monitoring system and method for metering peristaltic pump

A conductivity measurement system provides one or more DC pulses to first and second electrodes submerged in an aqueous solution such as, for instance, the wash water of an industrial dishwasher. The voltage at the first electrode is measured at a sequence of at least three predetermined times after initiation of one of the DC pulse. A non-linear curve fitting function is applied to the sequence of at least three voltage measurements to calculate the voltage at the first electrode at the beginning of the DC pulse(s), commonly denoted as being at time t&equals;0. The resulting calculated voltage at time t&equals;0 is then used to calculate the conductivity of the solution, and/or to control operation of the a chemical dispenser, and/or to perform another predetermined system analysis or system control function. In addition, the difference between two of the measured voltages, such as the first and second measured voltages, is compared to a predetermined threshold value to determine whether the electrodes are so contaminated that polarization compensation is no longer feasible, thereby signaling that the electrodes should be cleaned or replaced.
