Systems and methods are disclosed herein for detecting entity migration. A method is provided for receiving container information for all known addresses in the United States. The container information can include address records, person or business entities associated with the address records, and temporal information associating the entities with the address records. The method includes determining, with one or more special-purpose computer processors in communication with a memory, migration data based on the container information. The method includes extracting metrics from the migration data. The metrics can include velocity of migration data; simultaneous movement of individuals within a predetermined time period; distance moved; and/or age of the person or business entities. The method can include determining, based at least in part on outliers associated with the metrics, one or more indicators of fraud; and outputting, for display, the one or more indicators of the fraud.

Systems and methods for detecting entity migration

Certain embodiments of the disclosed technology include systems and methods for increasing efficiency in the detection of identity-based fraud indicators. A method is provided that includes: receiving entity-supplied information comprising at least a name, a social security number (SSN), and a street address associated with a request for a payment or a benefit; querying one or more databases with the entity-supplied information; receiving a plurality of information in response to the querying; determining a validity indication of the entity supplied information; creating disambiguated entity records; determining relationships among the disambiguated records; scoring, based at least in part on determining the relationships among the disambiguated entity records, at least one parameter of the entity-supplied information; determining one or more indicators of fraud based on the scoring; and outputting, for display, one or more indicators of fraud.

Systems and methods for increasing efficiency in the detection of identity-based fraud indicators

Certain embodiments of the disclosed technology may include systems and methods for detecting tax refund fraud. According to an exemplary embodiment of the disclosed technology, a method is provided for detecting tax refund fraud. The method includes receiving entity-supplied information. In an exemplary embodiment, the entity-supplied information includes at least a name, social security number, and mailing address. The method further includes querying one or more databases with the entity-supplied information and receiving a plurality of independent information in response to the querying. The method can include determining, based at least in part on a comparison of the entity-supplied information with the plurality of independent information, zero or more indicators of fraud. The method can include outputting the zero or more indicators of fraud.

Systems and methods for detecting tax refund fraud

A system for collecting, storing, linking and processing license plate data to provide compilations of information and displays of such compiled information. The system has a license plate reading system that may record time and location data in addition to license plate data, license plate image data, and image data of a vehicle. The data is collected over an extended period of time and stored for later searching. The data may be correlated, indexed and/or categorized in storage. The collected data may be compared to various existing or other databases and correlated and/or indexed to such databases. That collected data may be processed, searched, and/or analyzed for a variety of purposes.

Vehicle data collection and processing system

The invention relates to a system and method of conducting surveillance of stolen vehicles. Stolen vehicle information is downloaded from a database to a central server. At the central server, vehicle information is parsed to the specific requirements. Each subscribing jurisdiction downloads its area-specific stolen vehicle database to a subscriber workstation, e.g., via the Internet or an intranet. Police cars have on-board mobile surveillance points having a camera and a processor. A copy of the area-specific stolen vehicle database is loaded into each car's processor. The mobile surveillance point reads license plates of vehicles in traffic, and the processor compares the license plates to stolen plate numbers stored in the database. The processor activates a signal to alert the officer. Stationary checkpoints located in the jurisdiction have a stationary surveillance point having a camera and a processor. The surveillance system stores images and creates a database of all vehicle plates in the area. The surveillance data is downloaded to the subscriber computer. The subscriber computer has a map database. A comparison algorithm identifies stolen vehicles in the area and their direction of travel, and displays the information on an area map. The analysis if performed with a spatial analysis algorithm along with temporal analysis using police officer's experience and knowledge of the area and vehicle types (make/model/value/etc) stolen. The police officer analyzes patterns of stolen vehicles and generates suggested new locations for checkpoints, narrowing in on a possible chop shop location.
