A holder for the storage and utilization of X-ray markers. The holder includes one or more channels in which an X-ray marker may be slid for storage. While the marker is stored, the holder may be transported throughout a healthcare setting. The marker may then be easily removed from the holder when the marker is needed. The holder may include one or more indents in a channel to improve the ability to slide an X-ray marker. A tension mechanism within a channel holds a marker in place while it is being stored in a holder. Further, openings in the front panel of the holder may allow user to see what marker is being stored. The holder may also include thumb notches to help easily insert and remove an X-ray marker from the holder.

A device for monitoring the level or amount of a material within a container is provided. The device includes a detection mechanism that can be a direct detection mechanism or an indirect detection mechanism. When the detection mechanism senses an upper level of the substance in the container that is below a predetermined lower limit for the substance, the mechanism operates an alarm mechanism to emit an alarm to alert an individual to the low level of the substance within the container. The alarm can wirelessly communicate a salt level state to a wireless network or a device on a wireless network that can transmit the status through the Internet to any remote location. In one aspect, the alarm can be sent on a mesh network with a device that can transmit the status and other conditions through the Internet and to an application executing on a mobile device.

A transmission system and method of repair having a transmission servo rod received within a transmission housing bore, the rod having an aperture disposed along an exterior surface of the rod, configured to receive transmission fluid from a port within the transmission housing bore, a first recessed groove in the exterior surface of the rod disposed above the aperture; a second recessed groove in the exterior surface of the rod disposed below the aperture; and a first and second resilient sealing member received within the first and second recessed grooves, respectively, the resilient sealing members configured to engage an inner surface of the transmission housing bore.

A system for monitoring the level or amount of a material within a container is provided. The system includes a detection mechanism that can be a direct detection mechanism or any of a number of indirect detection mechanisms. When the detection mechanism senses an upper level of the substance in the container that is below a predetermined lower limit for the substance, the mechanism operates an alarm mechanism to emit an audible and/or visible alarm to alert an individual to the low level of the substance within the container. The alarm mechanism can be integrally formed with the detection mechanism, or can be spaced from the detection mechanism in order to provide a more accessible point for the viewing or hearing of the alarm emitted by the alarm mechanism.

A dock leveler for a truck loading dock includes a pivotal deck that is raised by an inflatable actuator. The actuator includes a pliable upper section that when inflated has a generally vertical cylindrical shape that can provide a heavy deck with substantial columnar support. The actuator also includes a relatively rigid base that is sealingly joined to the pliable upper section such that upper section and the rigid base define an inner chamber of air. A blower for inflating the actuator can be installed inside or outside the actuator. In some embodiments, a valve system reverses the airflow so that the blower can forcibly deflate and compress the actuator up against the bottom of the deck so that the area underneath the actuator can be cleaned.
