A slurry composition that includes (A) a solvent, (B) a suspension aid, (D) an alkoxylated fatty amine, (E) an active ingredient, and optionally (C) a polar activator. The slurry composition may be formulated with up to 75 wt. % of the active ingredient (E), based on a total weight of the slurry composition, and remain as a pumpable and stable suspension. A concentrated slurry base is also disclosed which includes the solvent (A), the suspension aid (B), the polar activator (C), and the alkoxylated fatty amine (D), all being present at a higher concentration in the concentrated slurry base than a slurry composition made therefrom. A method of treating a subterranean formation is also disclosed, whereby the slurry composition is mixed with an aqueous fluid to form a treatment fluid, and the treatment fluid is introduced through a wellbore penetrating the subterranean formation.

Stable high solids slurry compositions

A method for encapsulating a catalyst in a dispersed polymer particle comprising dissolving a Group 8 to Group 11 transition metal containing catalyst and a self-dispersing polymer in a solvent; adding water and optionally a base under particle forming conditions to form a dispersed polymer encapsulated catalyst comprising particles having a population number average diameter between 10 and 300 nanometers is provided.

The present invention is a composition comprising a) a stable aqueous dispersion of polymer particles having one or more structural units of i) a polyurea macromer; and ii) an acrylate, a methacrylate, a vinyl ester, or a styrene monomer, or a combination thereof; and/or b) an aqueous mixture of a i) polyurea macromer polymer particles; and b) acrylate, methacrylate, vinyl ester, or styrenic polymer particles, or a combination thereof, wherein the polyurea macromer is characterized by the following formula I: where A, A, R, R, and Rare as defined herein. Compositions prepared using the compound of the present invention can be used to form coatings with excellent balance of low temperature film formation, hardness, and flexibility.

In another aspect, the present invention is the compound of Formula I. Compositions prepared using the compound of the present invention can be used to form coatings with excellent balance of low temperature film formation, hardness, and flexibility.
