A casing system includes a landing ring and a mandrel hanger. The landing ring defines an opening extending between a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is configured to couple to a conductor pipe. The landing ring includes a landing ring shoulder extending radially inward from an inner surface of the opening. The mandrel hanger has an outer surface configured to engage a load ring and an engagement ring. The load ring also abuts the engagement ring and engages the landing ring shoulder.

Wellhead attachment system

A casing rotation system permits rotation of a casing string through a telescoping ring that selectively engages a casing hanger. When the telescoping ring is in a first axial position, it engages the casing hanger such that rotational force is transmitted from a running tool to the casing string. When the telescoping ring moves to a second axial position, it disengages the casing hanger such that rotational force is no longer transmitted to the casing string. The casing rotation system may include an inward-biased locking ring disposed about the casing hanger and optionally a bearing surface that reduces friction on the hangar.

Rotatable mandrel hanger

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a system for installing a slip hanger assembly in a wellbore with a slip bowl comprising an aperture extending from an outer diameter of the slip bowl. The system also includes a slip coupled to the slip bowl, the slip comprising teeth on an inner face and a slot for receiving a shear pin extending through the aperture. The system further includes a running tool coupled to the slip bowl. The system includes a housing coupled to the running tool, the housing including a cylinder for receiving a reciprocating piston, the piston being movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the slip is in stored position while the piston is in the first position and an engaged position when the piston is in the second position.

Slip hanger assembly

A method for completing a well includes extending coiled tubing into the well through a wellhead assembly, the coiled tubing having a lower end within the well and an upper end outside of the well. A tool is releasably attached to a central portion of the coiled tubing between the lower and upper ends. The tool has a tool body has an inner diameter surface sized to circumscribe the coiled tubing. A gripping feature is located on the inner diameter surface for limiting relative axial movement between the tool and the coiled tubing when the inner diameter of the tool circumscribes the coiled tubing. A tool feature extends from the tool body and is shaped to engage a well member. The tool is lowered into the well with the coiled tubing and the tool feature engages the well member. The tool is removed from the well with the coiled tubing.

Systems and methods for positioning tubular members within a subterranean well include inner and outer tubular members extending into the well. An adjustment ring assembly is located between the inner tubular member and the outer tubular member and has an outer ring and an inner ring. The outer ring circumscribes, and is rotatable relative to, the inner ring to adjust the radial offset between a central axis of the wellhead assembly and a central axis of the inner tubular member.

A valve assembly includes a valve body with a flow passage intersected by a valve cavity. A valve member is axially movable in the valve cavity between a closed position and an open position, the valve member having an opening that registers with the flow passage when the valve member is in the open position. A valve stem is threadingly connected to the valve member, the valve stem rotatable to move the valve member between the closed position and the open position. A collar assembly is located within a slot of the valve member and circumscribes the valve stem, the collar assembly having an annular collar shoulder. The valve stem has an annular load shoulder sized to engage the collar shoulder, limiting axial movement of the valve member.

A valve with a packing assembly can include a first stem packing circumscribing a first portion of a valve stem, forming a seal between the valve stem and a valve body assembly, and being located in the second bore portion. A first packing retainer can have a collar that limits axial movement of the first stem packing and a first retainer body defining an inner cavity. A second stem packing can circumscribe a second portion of the valve stem and be located in the inner cavity of the first packing retainer. A second packing retainer can limit axial movement of the second stem packing. A piston member can be located axially between the first stem packing and the second stem packing, the piston member being moveable to apply axial force to one of the first stem packing and the second stem packing.

A tool for retaining an activator ring of a hanger within a wellhead assembly during a fluid pumping process includes an annular fluid pumping sub body having an end selectively coupled with a supply of fluids and a distal end selectively coupled with the hanger. An outer ring assembly circumscribes and rotates relative to the fluid pumping sub body. A retainer ring circumscribes the fluid pumping sub body and selectively abuts the activator ring. A plurality of biasing assemblies that are selectively compressible are located between the outer ring assembly and the retainer ring, so that when the fluid pumping sub body is coupled with the hanger, an axial lockdown force is maintained on the activator ring by the biasing assemblies during the fluid pumping process.

A hanger assembly for supporting a tubular member within an outer well member includes a slip bowl that is moveable between an expanded condition with an enlarged diameter and a contracted condition with a reduced diameter, and has a downward facing slip bowl shoulder on an outer diameter of the slip bowl. Slips with teeth on an inner diameter surface are carried by the slip bowl. The slips are moveable between a retracted position, and an extended position where the teeth protrude radially inward from the inner diameter of the slip bowl. A false bowl has a lower upward facing false bowl shoulder located on an inner diameter and is sized to selectively engage the downward facing slip bowl shoulder. The false bowl also has a downward facing landing shoulder located on an outer diameter that is sized to selectively engage a support shoulder of the outer well member.

Flexible emergency hanger and method of installation

A fluid fitting for use with a hydrocarbon production device includes an annular fitting assembly inserted into a port formed in the hydrocarbon production device. A first outer diameter seal is located between the fitting assembly and the port. A packing assembly is located in an annulus between the fitting assembly and an inner surface of the port, defining a second outer diameter seal between the fitting assembly and the port.

A tool for polishing a seal surface of a wellhead assembly includes a cylindrical tool body with an axis. The tool body includes a base member with a first end, and a second end. A tubular skirt member extends from the second end of the base member. The skirt member has a sidewall, a base end connected to the base member, and an open end opposite the base end. A plurality of axial slots extend through the sidewall of the skirt member, the axial slots being spaced circumferentially around the skirt member. A polishing belt is woven through the axial slots of the skirt member.

A valve with a packing assembly includes a valve body assembly with a bore, a valve member moveable between an open position and a closed position, and a valve stem coupled to the valve member. A first stem packing circumscribes a portion of the valve stem, and is located in an upper bore portion of the bore. A first packing retainer has a collar that limits axial movement of the first stem packing, and also has a first retainer body defining an inner cavity. A second stem packing circumscribes a portion of the valve stem and is located in the inner cavity of the first packing retainer. A second packing retainer has a neck compressingly engaging the second stem packing, and a retainer shoulder that engages the first packing retainer. A retaining assembly is coupled with the valve body assembly for applying axial force to the second packing retainer.
