A thrombosis macerating device for macerating blood clots and blockages in a blood vessel is disclosed. The macerating device comprises an expandable basket that is rotated to macerate the clot or blockage. The expandable basket is disposed at the distal end of the tubular shaft. The expandable basket comprises a plurality of struts that form a braiding pattern. The braiding pattern of the expandable basket comprises a pick per inch that ranges from 2 to 5.

Thrombosis macerating devices for blood vessels

Devices used to drain fluid are disclosed. The devices may be configured to drain fluid from a body cavity using a vacuum pressure. The devices include a reservoir and a vacuum generating member configured to expand the reservoir and generate a vacuum pressure within the reservoir.
