A chalk line device includes a housing, a spool, a chalk line, a hook, and a cap. The housing defines an outer surface and an internal chamber, and the housing includes an opening. The spool is supported in the internal chamber for rotation relative to the housing. The chalk line extends through the opening of the housing and the chalk line includes a first end and a second end. At least a portion of the chalk line is wrapped around the spool. The hook is secured to the first end of the chalk line and includes a tip adapted to engage a work piece. The cap is removably coupled to the housing to cover the opening. The cap includes a nozzle through which the chalk line extends and a projection for engaging and releasably securing the hook against the cap.

Chalk line device

A generator set. In one embodiment, the generator set includes an internal combustion engine, a DC generator, one or more battery cells, and an inverter. The DC generator is coupled to the engine and produces direct current ('DC') electricity. The battery cells discharge stored DC electricity and can be recharged using DC electricity from the DC generator. The inverter is electrically connected to the DC generator and to the battery cells. The inverter converts DC electricity produced by the DC generator and DC electricity discharged from the one or more battery cells to alternating current ('AC') electricity. The AC electricity is available for use by a load.

Generator systems and methods

A power-generating apparatus includes a frame, an engine supported by the frame, an alternator coupled to the engine and operable to convert mechanical energy from the engine into electrical energy, and a battery charger supported by the frame and electrically coupled to the alternator. The battery charger is operable to charge a battery pack with the electrical energy from the alternator.

A reciprocating saw, including a housing, a spindle mounted for reciprocation relative to the housing, the spindle having an end adapted to receive a saw blade, the saw blade having a first orientation relative to the spindle to have a first cutting direction and a second orientation relative to the spindle to have a second cutting direction opposite the first cutting direction, and a drive assembly connected to the spindle and operable to selectively drive the saw blade along a first path of travel during a first cutting stroke and along a second path of travel during a second cutting stroke. The first path of travel is characterized by movement at least partially in the first cutting direction and the second path of travel is characterized by movement at least partially in the second cutting direction.

Reciprocating saw

Boring bits and methods for manufacturing boring bits. The method includes the acts of forming a shank including one end connectable to a power tool and an opposite end, molding a cutting head separate from the shank, the cutting head including a base wall and a side wall extending from the base wall, the base wall having an interior base surface and an exterior base surface, and bonding the shank and the cutting head as a unit including bonding the opposite end of the shank to the exterior base surface.
