A method, a network device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in relation to an device detection and network slice assignment service. The device detection and network slice assignment service may include providing a subnetwork slice connection between a fixed wireless access device and a fifth generation (5G) radio access network device to an end device that is not 5G compatible. The fixed wireless access device may detect the end device based on an identifier included in a network assignment request. The fixed wireless access device may assign a network address, which may be associated with the network slice assignment service, to the end device. The fixed wireless access device may route traffic to and from the end device via the subnetwork slice connection.

Device detection and network slice assignment service

A management system may receive base station information regarding 5G base stations identified by a fixed wireless access (FWA) device. The base station information may identify the 5G base stations and sectors of the 5G base stations. The management system may provide a request for a quantity of devices connected to each of the sectors. The management system may receive device information indicating the quantity of devices connected to each sector of the sectors of the 5G base stations. The management system may determine loads of the 5G base stations based on the device information. The management system may provide load information regarding the loads of the 5G base stations. The load information may be provided to cause a 4G base station to determine the loads of the 5G base stations prior to causing a 5G base station to establish a connection with the FWA device.

Systems and methods for determining loads of base stations for connection with fixed wireless access devices

A device may include a processor configured to receive a report from a fixed wireless access device indicating that no anchoring relationship exists between a Fourth Generation (4G) base station and a Fifth Generation (5G) base station to which the fixed wireless access device is attempting to connect. The device may be further configured to instruct a network management system to create the anchoring relationship between the 4G base station and the 5G base station; and update an anchoring relationships database with information relating to the created anchoring relationship, wherein the anchoring relationships database stores information relating to anchoring relationships between base stations in a radio access network.

Systems and methods for anchoring relationship management between base stations

One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for latency evaluation and management resolution are provided. A fingerprint for traffic flow over a communication network from an application executing on a device to a multi-access edge (MEC) server instance hosted by a MEC platform may be identified. The fingerprint may be used to track the traffic flow between the application and the MEC server in order to measure round trip time latencies of the traffic flow. In response to a round trip time latency violating a latency management policy, segment latencies along segments of a communication travel path of the traffic flow from the device to the MEC platform may be measured. A management resolution function may be performed based upon one or more of the segment latencies exceeding a threshold.

Latency evaluation and management resolution

An application, executed by a User Equipment ('UE'), may receive an identifier, which may be used to monitor Key Performance Indicators ('KPIs') associated with the UE. Such KPIs may be monitored in conjunction with execution of the application, such as at times that the application sends and/or receives traffic. The KPIs may be associated with sensor data, resources, and/or other features or functionality of the UE. The UE may obtain an identifier associated with the application and/or the UE from a KPI monitoring system of some embodiments, may obtain user consent to monitor and/or report KPIs associated with the application, and may provide such KPIs to the KPI monitoring system in conjunction with the identifier. The KPI monitoring system may generate aggregated KPI information, associated with the application, based on the KPIs received from the UE and/or KPIs received from one or more other sources.

Systems and methods for device-anonymous performance monitoring in a wireless network

A device attempts to establish a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) connection and attempts to establish a point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) connection when the attempt to establish the DHCP connection is unsuccessful. The device establishes the DHCP connection when the attempt to establish the DHCP connection is successful, or establishes the PPPoE connection when the attempt to establish the PPPoE connection is successful.

Automatic detection and establishment of network connection

A device receives an activation inform message associated with a local area network (LAN) device, and verifies the LAN device and a gateway device associated with the LAN device based on an Internet protocol (IP) address included in the activation inform message. The device also performs a set parameter value (SPV) operation to add a new connection request port forwarding entry in the gateway device when the LAN device and the gateway device are verified, and sends a connection request operation, to be forwarded by the gateway device to the LAN device, based on the new connection request port forwarding entry.

Remote management of network devices

A device may receive a message from a client device and determine whether the message includes particular data. The device may identify an address within a particular address group when the message includes the particular data. The traffic associated with addresses within the particular address group are assigned priority over traffic associated with addresses outside the particular address group. The device may provide the identified address to the client device so that traffic associated with the client device receives priority over other traffic.

Assigning priority to network traffic at customer premises

A device may receive a message from a client device and determine whether the message includes particular data. The device may identify an address within a particular address group when the message includes the particular data. The traffic associated with addresses within the particular address group are assigned priority over traffic associated with addresses outside the particular address group. The device may provide the identified address to the client device so that traffic associated with the client device receives priority over other traffic
