A power connector system for an appliance includes a cable assembly comprising a plug having plug contacts terminated to discrete wires of the cable assembly. The power connector system also includes a receptacle assembly having a receptacle housing having a cavity that receives the plug. The receptacle housing is configured to be received in a cutout of a bezel of the appliance such that the cavity is accessible from an exterior of the appliance. The receptacle housing holds receptacle contacts that are mated to the plug contacts when the plug is received in the cavity.

Power connector system

An electrical connector assembly includes a first connector module including pins configured to be terminated to a circuit board and a second connector module including pins configured to be terminated to the circuit board. The electrical connector assembly also includes a carrier system including an organizer having openings therethrough in a predetermined pattern. The organizer is coupled to the first and second connector modules such that at least some of the pins of the first connector module extend through the openings of the organizer and such that at least some of the pins of the second connector module extend through the openings of the organizer. The first connector module, the second connector module and the organizer are configured to be mounted to the circuit board as a bundled unit.

Carrier system for an electrical connector assembly

A connector assembly for use with a compressible gasket includes a housing having a mating end and a cable end, the housing being configured to hold a contact. The connector assembly also includes a deflectable shroud extending from the housing rearward of the cable end to the compressible gasket. The shroud surrounds a hollow chamber that is configured to receive the compressible gasket. The shroud is deflectable between an expanded state and a collapsed state, wherein a volume of the hollow chamber is reduced when in the collapsed state as compared to the expanded state. The shroud compresses the gasket when in the collapsed state.

Connector assembly for a compressible gasket

A crimp contact that includes an elongated contact body having loading and mating ends and a central axis extending therebetween. The contact body includes a contact wall that extends around the central axis and that defines a conductor-receiving passage of the contact body proximate to the loading end. The contact wall has an outer surface. The crimp contact also includes a sleeve wall that extends around the central axis and the outer surface of the contact wall proximate to the loading end of the contact body. The sleeve wall is sized to engage a crimping tool and the contact wall is configured to grip a conductor within the conductor-receiving passage when the sleeve and contact walls are deformed by the crimping tool.

Crimp contacts and electrical connector assemblies including the same

A bracket configured to be mounted to a support wall. The bracket includes a panel that has opposing first and second sides that extend along a plane. The first side faces an exterior space and the second side facing an interior space. The bracket also includes a hub that is configured to receive an electronic device. The hub includes a first hub portion that extends from the first side and a second hub portion that extends from the second side toward the interior space. The first and second hub portions define a port through the panel to connect the interior and exterior spaces. The port extends along a central axis and is sized and shaped to receive and receive the device along the central axis. The central axis forms a non-orthogonal angle with respect to the plane of the first and second sides.
