An air-tight storage container system has a container having an open top and a container closure unit configured to be placed over the top. The closure unit has a series of stacked, interlocking components, including a handle member, a flexible deformable gasket member, a snap inner piece, and a bottom member. When these closure unit components are interconnected and the closure unit itself is positioned atop the container, the closure unit is pushed and rotated, held within the container to establish an air-tight seal within the container.

Air-tight storage container system

A liquid infusion system has an infusion chamber with open top and bottom ends. The top end has a removable cover. Flavored ingredients are placed in the chamber. A lower housing is rotatably secured to the bottom end of the chamber. A one-way valve located within the lower housing allows liquid flow in only a single direction. A stopper configured to be inserted into a bottle of virgin liquid is connected to the lower housing. When the system is tilted downward, virgin liquid is free to flow from the bottle and into the chamber. Bringing the bottle to vertical closes the valve and allows the virgin liquid and any ingredients placed in the chamber to steep, to produce a flavored infused beverage. The lower housing can be rotated and locked into a position in relation to the infusion chamber to prevent the flow of liquid into or out of the chamber.

Bottle top liquid infusion system

A system for and method of verifying a configuration of an artifact, such as a gun, a phone, or other artifact, is provided. The system includes a plurality of unique verification mechanisms, each verification mechanism including a unique identifier for distinguishing the verification mechanism from each of the other verification mechanisms. The method includes engaging a verification mechanism with the artifact and/or with an object and/or device associated with the artifact so as to move the artifact to a verifiable configuration while simultaneously moving the verification mechanism to a verifying configuration. The method further includes scanning the verification mechanism to create a first verification record, thereby providing evidence of such configurations. The verification mechanism is configured such that moving the artifact away from the verifiable configuration moves the verification mechanism away from the verifying configuration, thereby preventing the verification mechanism from moving back to the verifying configuration.

The fermentation broth is maintained at a pH of between about 4 and 6, and dissolved metal cation of one or more of iron, cobalt, nickel and zinc is provided to the fermentation broth in an amount sufficient to form, under the conditions of the fermentation broth, a substantially insoluble metal complex with the metal cation and cyanide anion. The rate of formation of the insoluble complex is sufficiently high that that the amount of cyanide that is taken up by microorganisms does not result in an undue adverse effect on the population of microorganisms.
