An enriched air stove having a combustion surface for supporting solid fuel for combustion and an oxygen enriched air intake fluidly connected to the combustion surface to provide an oxygen enriched air source. The combustion surface can be a baseplate comprising a plurality of apertures fluidly connected to an air mixing chamber to mix atmospheric air and enriched oxygen to assist combustion of the solid fuel.

Enriched air stove

A portable power system which contains a battery, which is intended for use as a power source for charging the batteries of portable electronics devices or for powering other electrical systems. It contains a USB connection for power input and a myriad of adapters for connecting the power system with the proprietary connectors of portable devices, as well as a screen to output system information to the user. The power system also contains a microcontroller which controls internal systems, input and output current and voltage, such that the power system may operate with any portable device as well as any type of USB port.

Portable charging power system for battery-powered devices

A portable power and/or memory device is disclosed, which device includes integrated management circuitry enabling on-board management of energy storage, power management, and memory management. In a preferred embodiment, the device of the present invention can store and make available both memory and power, and provides an on-board means for displaying the various memory and/or power parameters associated with the device, using a USB interface to receive power for storage and to communicate between onboard memory and a device to which the portable power and/or memory device is connected.

Combination power memory device

Briefly described, the invention provides a photovoltaic assembly power output utilizing device which partially charges a capacitor assembly. This capacitor assembly is then partially discharged by a DC/DC power converter in different ranges of voltages in which the power output from the photovoltaic assembly peaks for different light intensities.

Photovoltaic power output-utilizing device

An electronic device, which captures and accumulates varying levels of electrical energy in suitable short-term storage means until the energy is of such a level that it can be efficiently transferred to at least one long-term storage device means, such as electro-chemical batteries. The invention further permits simultaneous transfer to a variety of electro-chemical batteries, which can possess different storage chemistries.

Two stage energy storage device

A photovoltaic strip assembly is disclosed comprising a polyimide substrate, a thin film voltaic strip, and a transversely grooved, protection covering of a chlorofloural polymer. The grooves are provided to increase the flexibility of the strip, and may be V-shaped, flat bottomed with splayed sides, or rounded to provide dome shapes between them. Similar grooves may be provided in the exposed surface of the substrate to further increase the flexibility of the strip. The grooves of the substrate may be aligned with ridges between the grooves of the protective covering, to receive these ridges when the strip is wound around a rechargeable battery or energy cell. In a different embodiment the grooves are between rows of hump-shaped protuberances. The protuberances of adjacent rows may be staggered.

Photovoltaic strip assembly

A folding photovoltaic strip device is provided comprising a plurality of photovoltaic modules joined to form a strip and pleated by flexible, transverse creases so that the device may be stored folded together along the creases, in a compact form, and the creases sprung opened to expose the modules to energizing light. The creases are permanent to facilitate folding the device for storage, and the ends of the strip may be attached to a casing and a lid in which the strip is to be stored.
