Disclosed herein is a wellbore servicing fluid comprising a scale inhibitor, a surfactant, and an aqueous fluid comprising sulfate in an amount of from about 100 ppm to about 10,000 ppm based on the total weight of the aqueous fluid. The wellbore servicing fluid can be used as a fracturing fluid in a method of servicing a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The wellbore servicing fluid can mitigate the formation of scales, prevent water blockage, and increase hydrocarbon production.

A method may comprise introducing a first traceable solid particulate into a first formation zone of one or more subterranean formations, wherein the first traceable solid particulate may comprise a first soluble tracer coated onto a first solid particulate. The method may also comprise introducing a second traceable solid particulate into a second formation zone of the one or more subterranean formations, wherein the second traceable solid particulate may comprise a second soluble tracer coated onto a second solid particulate, wherein the second tracer and the first tracer may have a different chemical identity. The method may further comprise recovering produced fluid from the one or more subterranean formations and monitoring concentrations of at least the first soluble tracer and the second soluble tracer in the produced fluid.

Some sensitive metal surfaces are often unable to be contacted effectively with hydrofluoric acid or acidic fluoride ions due to significant corrosion issues that may occur. Metal surfaces comprising titanium or a titanium alloy represent but one example of sensitive metal surfaces having this issue. Corrosion inhibitor compositions comprising boric acid and other boron-containing compounds may at least partially suppress corrosion of titanium and titanium alloy surfaces. Methods for suppressing corrosion may comprise: contacting a metal surface comprising titanium or a titanium alloy with a corrosion inhibitor composition comprising a boron-containing compound; and interacting the metal surface with a fluid phase comprising hydrofluoric acid or acidic fluoride ions.
