A device for producing a pattern combination on a clothing includes the following: a rotary screen, a cylindrical jacket surface with a perforation pattern that defines a first pattern component. Material in the liquid or pasty state is pressed through the perforations of the jacket surface of the rotary screen and deposited on the surface of the clothing in order to produce the first pattern component on a surface of the clothing, while the rotary screen, rotating several times about a longitudinal axis thereof, rolls on the surface of the clothing in at least one path that continuously revolves on the surface of the clothing at least once. At least one device produces, synchronously and/or simultaneously, a second pattern component, which device is connected indirectly or directly to the rotary screen. The device for producing the pattern combination also includes a post-run system.

Device for generating a pattern on a clothing for a machine for manufacturing a web material

A press felt includes a base structure providing dimensional stability in a machine and a cross machine direction of the felt, a batt fiber structure including batt fiber layers attached to the base structure which provide a paper contacting side and a machine contacting side of the felt. The base structure includes a first and second side. Polymeric beads or strands made from a polymeric material are arranged on at least one of the two sides of the base structure. The polymeric beads or strands arranged on the at least one side have a longitudinal expansion in the machine direction of the felt and are arranged side-by-side when viewed in the cross machine direction of the felt to generate space between adjacent beads or strands. At least one of the batt fiber layers is arranged to cover both the at least one side and the polymeric beads or strands thereon.

The invention relates to a transport or processing belt for a machine for the production or treatment of a fiber web, particularly a paper, cardboard or tissue machine, having a paper side and a conveying side and comprising a polymer coating and a textile load-bearing fabric, wherein the textile fabric has a first side facing the paper side and a second side facing the conveying side. The textile fabric is permeable with a permeability of at least 300 cfm, preferably of at least 500 cfm, and the polymer coating extends in one piece from the first side of the textile fabric though the openings of the textile fabric to the second side of the textile fabric.

Belt and method to manufacture

The invention relates to a method for producing a topographical pattern from polymer material on an endless strip with a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction extending perpendicularly thereto, in which method a cylindrical rotary screen is used to apply the polymer material by the screen printing process to a circumferential side of the endless strip to be printed, wherein, when producing the pattern, the rotary screen, rotating repeatedly about its longitudinal axis, rolls on the circumferential side of the endless strip, whereby the pattern is applied to the circumferential side in at least one path running at least once uninterruptedly around the circumferential side in such a way that the beginning and the end of each revolution of the path are arranged along a common straight line, wherein, when rolling, the rotary screen performs N revolutions about its longitudinal axis during each revolution of the path on the circumferential side of the endless strip and N is a positive integer.

A method and apparatus is disclosed for manufacturing papermakers or like fabrics wherein preformed apertured fabric bands are joined together in spaced edge-to-edge disposition in a manner to provide substantial uniformity of construction throughout the fabric width. The invention proposed supporting the bands (11, 12) in spaced parallel disposition on a pinned roller (26) wherein the distribution and configuration of the pins (34) matches the apertures in the bands and creating an infill band in the region between adjacent preformed bands (11, 12) by feeding thermoplastic matrix material to the surface of the pinned roller in said region, causing said matrix material to flow into interstices between the pins and to bond with the material of the preformed bands. Reinforcing yarns (13) will be provided in the region between adjacent preformed bands and extending in a direction parallel to the bands and will be embodied within the matrix material of the joined structure. Transversely extending yarns may be provided on the preformed bands for like encapsulation by the matrix material of the infill band.
