Disclosed is a high performance low cost multiband antenna configuration that has a low band dipole having dipole arms formed of stamped sheet metal with a plurality of inductor structures. The plurality of inductor structures are oriented along a longitudinal axis of the low band dipole arm, and others are oriented orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The plurality of the inductor structures act as cloaking structures that make the low band dipole substantially transparent to high band RF energy without inhibiting the performance of the dipole in the low band.

Low cost high performance multiband cellular antenna with cloaked monolithic metal dipole

Disclosed is a phase shifter arrangement for an antenna, such as a cellular antenna, that has a simplified drive mechanism. The phase shifter arrangement has two phase shifters, each with two wiper arms that are coupled at one end to a single drive shaft. Each of the wiper arms have a pivot access that may be located at or near its center such that as the drive shaft translates, it mechanically engages both wiper arms, causing them to rotate around their respective pivot axes. Certain antenna arrangements have several array faces. For example, the antenna may have three array faces, each spaced at 120 degrees of azimuth. The drive shafts for each of these array faces may operate independently to function as a multisector antenna, or they may be driven in unison to function as an omnidirectional antenna.

Compact antenna phase shifter with simplified drive mechanism

Disclosed is a high performance low cost multiband antenna configuration that has a low band dipole having dipole arms formed of stamped sheet metal that has a plurality of slots. Some of the slots are oriented along a longitudinal axis of the low band dipole arm, and others are oriented orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The presence of the slots creates a plurality of inductor structures, which act has cloaking structures that make the low band dipole substantially transparent to high band RF energy without inhibiting the performance of the dipole in the low band.

Lighting assemblies or lighting fixtures suitable for use in a hazardous location are provided. Generally, the lighting fixtures include a light source assembly, a heat sink, a driver housing or gear module, a thermally conductive sealing member between the light source assembly and the heat sink, and a thermally nonconductive sealing member or a thermally semi-conductive sealing member positioned between the heat sink and the driver housing. The conductive sealing member has a thermal conductivity of at least about 6 Watts per meter-Kelvin, and/or a thermal impedance of less than about 0.21 degree-C inch squared per Watt. The lighting fixtures have controlled directional heat transfer from the light source assembly to the exterior of the lighting fixture, while minimizing the heat transferred to the driver housing.

Lighting assemblies or lighting fixtures suitable for use in a hazardous location are provided. Receptacles configured to securely mate with hazardous area plugs are provided. The receptacles include a housing, a locking plate, and a sliding lockout key. The sliding lockout key prevents the locking plate from rotating when the receptacle and plug are disconnected or when a standard plug is inserted into the receptacle. When the proper plug is inserted into the receptacle, the sliding key portion is depressed and allows rotation of the locking plate. Upon rotation, pins from the plug contact internal pins of the receptacle and make an electrical connection.

Sliding lockout key

A locking switch includes a shaft that engages one or more electromechanical switches and a knob that is secured to the shaft such that when the knob is rotated, a rotary motion is imparted to the shaft and to the electromechanical switches engaged by the shaft. The locking switch also includes a lock ring having multiple slots and a lock lever that is attached to the knob and that is captured in one of the slots in the lock ring to prevent rotation of the knob.
