A device is designed to put the inhaler into a triggering-ready state by adding energy to a stored energy source of the inhaler. The inhaler can be inserted into the device and/or mechanically coupled to the device in order to put the inhaler into the triggering-ready state.

Device for putting an inhaler into a triggering-ready state

A cartridge for a dispensing device, such as a nebulizer, for dispensing a medicament composed of or produced from a plurality of components and a system including a dispensing device, such as a nebulizer, and such a cartridge. The cartridge includes at least two fluidically separated chambers which each contain at least one component of the medicament, an actuating mechanism for fluidically connecting the chambers and mixing the components for the dispensing of the medicament. A method for preparing a medicament composed of a plurality of components in a cartridge for the dispensing of said medicament by way of a dispensing device, such as a nebulizer, where a plurality of fluidically separated chambers of the cartridge are fluidically connected, and a component of the medicament is at least partially transferred from one of the chambers to another of the chambers with another component of the medicament in order to mix the components. Only once the components have been mixed is the cartridge opened for the extraction of a dose of the medicament.

A system, a detection device, a method, a use, and a computer program product for monitoring an actual or simulated preparation, performing, and/or post-processing of a dispensing—referred to as dispensing process below—of an administrable, preferably pharmaceutical, substance, with a dispensing device for dispensing the substance, whereby the dispensing device has at least one sound generator, which is designed in the dispensing process to generate at least one sound event, specific to a property or change in state of the dispensing device, in an acoustic signal, and with a detection device for checking the acoustic signal for the at least one sound event, in order to make possible a detection of the property or change in state of the dispensing device.

System for monitoring the dispensing of an administrable substance, protecting element and dispensing device

A nebulizer for nebulizing a fluid from a cartridge and a cartridge for such a nebulizer is proposed. The cartridge comprises a container containing the fluid to be nebulized and is fluidically connected to the nebulizer by inserting a connecting element of the nebulizer for conveying the fluid out of the container. The cartridge is preferably adapted to sealingly receive the connecting element and can optionally comprise a membrane or sealing wall which seals the cartridge initially and is piercable or breakable by the connecting element upon insertion. The cartridge can further comprise an at least partially flexible and/or bendable tube for conveying the fluid out of the container. The tube is preferably wettable with the fluid and/or comprises an at least partially hydrophilic and/or polar surface. Further, the tube can at least partially be shaped as a helix. When the cartridge is connected to the nebulizer, the tube and the connecting element preferably form a continuous capillary and/or an at least essentially constant flow area.

Nebulizer and cartridge

Disclosed is an inhaler and a method for using the inhaler for the inhalation of a formulation from a carrier. The carrier contains the formulation in a receptacle and is set oscillating by an air current. An improved or defined delivery and nebulisation of the preferably powdered formulation is made possible by the fact that the carrier is set oscillating in defined manner, the formulation is dispensed through a cover element having three to five holes and/or the air current flows onto a fin associated with the carrier and flows past at least substantially only one flat side of the carrier.

An inhaler, particularly for a horse, having a reservoir for dispensing a medicament preparation held under excess pressure, with a discharge nozzle for forming an aerosol of the medicament preparation and with a chamber for holding and temporarily storing the aerosol, which is located on the outlet side, a respiratory orifice adapter for a respiratory orifice, particularly a nostril, while according to a first aspect the reservoir is secured in position, at least in the axial direction, according to a second aspect the discharge nozzle has a direction of discharge which is inclined by more than 5&#xb0; and less than 50&#xb0; relative to a central axis of the reservoir or a direction of actuation for dispensing the aerosol, and according to a third aspect, the reservoir has a dispensing valve which is arranged at the top in the position of use of the inhaler.

Inhaler

A nebulizer as well as a container with a fluid for such a nebulizer are proposed. The container comprises a control device which indicates initially an unused state of the container before first use. An indicator device stops via a locking device further use of the container in a locked state when a predetermined number of uses has been reached or exceeded. After replacement of the container, the nebulizer can be reset and used again.

Nebulizer and container

An insert which can be inserted into an inhaler, particularly for a horse has a reservoir for a medicament preparation held under excess pressure and a valve. The insert also has a nebulizer that is held directly on the reservoir and a discharge nozzle, associated with the nebulizer and fluidically connected to the valve, for forming an aerosol with the medicament preparation.

A container, a nebulizer and a use of an indicator device are described, where the container comprises an indicator device fixedly mounted on the bottom of the container, the container is arranged within the nebulizer and the container can be detached by grabbing the indicator device.

Container, nebulizer and use

A container for holding, dispensing and/or storing a preferably liquid medicament preparation is proposed, which comprises an inner space for the medicament preparation and an at least partially multi-layered wall structure defining the inner space, the wall structure comprising a first layer with a first through-opening of less than 40 &#x3bc;m. Alternatively or additionally, the wall structure comprises a second and third layer, a second through-opening being provided in the second layer and the third layer covering or closing off the wall structure.

Container for an inhaler

An inhaler is proposed having an insertable container and a monitoring device for counting uses of the inhaler. The monitoring device is arranged in a detachable housing part or fitted onto a mouthpiece of the inhaler. A supply air current is detected by means of a pressure sensor. A position sensor may further be provided.

A nebulizer and a container with a fluid for such a nebulizer are described, the container comprising an indicator device fixedly mounted on the bottom of the container, the indicator device stopping further use of the container in a locked state when a predetermined number of uses has been reached or exceeded, and when the nebulizer is partially opened, it is blocked against further use, and after replacement of the container including the indicator device, the nebulizer can be used again.

Nebulizer

The invention relates to an apparatus for nebulizing preferably powdered medicinal formulations, the nebulization being assisted by propellant. According to the invention, the propellant is supplied in pulsed form to the powder cavity () containing the formulation, which is attached to the nozzle () from which the aerosol is emitted. The apparatus according to the invention provides an increase in the fraction of pulmonary particles in the aerosol leaving the nozzle ().
