The pyrotechnical disconnection unit for impairing, preferably interrupting, an electrical charge coupling between a chargeable electrical energy cell, particularly comprising an electrical energy storage and an energy converter, and an electrical energy supply, such as a charging device, provides an electrically conductive connection section, such as an electrically conductive cable, an electrically conductive path or such, via which electrical charging energy is supplied from the energy supply of the electrical energy cell, a housing, in which the connection section is arranged, and a pyrotechnical means accommodated inside the housing being designed and/or being controllable in such a way that it unfolds its pyrotechnical effect when reaching a predefined operational state, wherein the pyrotechnical means is attributed to the connection section in such a way that the pyrotechnical effect of the pyrotechnical means at least limits, preferably suspends, the electrical conductivity of the connection section inside the housing.

The invention relates to a primer cap for small-caliber ammunition, having an outer metallic cup in which is arranged a priming composition which generates hot combustion gases following initiation. To enable more versatile control of the initiation process in the weapon, it is proposed that a resistance bridge which can be initiated electrically, and an electrically conductive pole piece, are additionally arranged in the primer cap, wherein the first pole of the resistance bridge is connected to the cup and the second pole is connected to the cup and the second pole is connected to the pole piece, which protrudes out of the cup and is electrically insulated from the same.

Improved Ziegler-Natta catalysts and methods of making the improved catalyst are described. The Ziegler-Natta catalyst is formed using a spherical MgCl-xROH support, where R is a linear, cyclic or branched hydrocarbon unit with 1-10 carbon atoms and where ROH is an alcohol or a mixture of at least two different alcohols and where x has a range of about 1.5 to 6.0, preferably about 2.5 to 4, more preferably about 2.9 to 3.4, and even more preferably 2.95 to 3.35. The Ziegler-Natta catalyst includes a Group 4-8 transition metal and an internal donor. The catalyst has improved activity in olefin polymerization reactions as well as good stereoregularity and hydrogen sensitivity.

High activity Ziegler-Natta catalysts, process for producing catalysts and use thereof

A catalyst system for the polymerization of olefins may include a first solid catalytic component and a second solid catalytic component. The first solid catalytic component may include: a spherical MgCl-xROH support; a group 4-8 transition metal; and a diether internal electron donor. The second solid catalytic component may include: a spherical MgCl-xROH support; a group 4-8 transition metal; and a diether internal electron donor. The first solid catalytic component produces a propylene homopolymer having a Xylene Solubles (XS) value of greater than 2 wt %; and the second solid catalytic component produces a propylene homopolymer having a XS value of less than 2 wt %. The second catalytic component may act as an external electron donor during use, and embodiments herein do not require use of any additional external electron donors to control polymerization and reliably vary the properties of the resulting polymer.

High performance Ziegler-Natta catalyst systems, processes for producing such catalyst systems, and use thereof

The invention relates to an electromechanical primer cap, having an explosive mixture for the selective electrical or mechanical initiation of the explosive mixture, having an outer metal cup, and electrically conductive pole piece, a firing bridge support body made of an electrically insulating material, with a through-bore, on the upper side of which a firing bridge is arranged, and having a counter surface placed onto the explosive mixture, wherein a hole through which the pole piece protrudes is constructed in the vase of the metal cup. A portion of the explosive mixture lies on a contact surface of the pole piece, and the counter surface protrudes as far as the through-bore of the firing bridge support body, or into or through the bore, and continues to just above the contact surface.

The invention relates to a method for producing electric trigger elements for pyrotechnic articles such as fuses or igniters, wherein, in a first stage, a) a lacquer is applied by photolithography to an electrically non-conductive substrate, b) a conductive material having a specific resistance of 0.1 &#x3a9;*mm to 5.0 &#x3a9;*mm is applied to the lacquer and substrate by means of a PVD process in a layer thickness of 0.02 &#x3bc;m to 8.0 &#x3bc;m, and c) the lacquer is removed from the substrate, and possibly, in a second stage, d) a photolithographic process is again carried out in which a precisely defined region of the resistor strip is covered with photoresist, e) the entire substrate surface is covered with a layer of a metal having a specific resistance of 0.01 &#x3a9;*mm to 0.1 &#x3a9;*mm in a thickness of 0.1 &#x3bc;m to 20 &#x3bc;m, wherein the application of the metal is configured such that in regions which have a bare substrate from the first photolithographic process, no metal adheres, and f) the lacquer from the second photolithographic process is again removed.

Improved Ziegler-Natta catalysts and methods of making the improved catalyst are described. A method for making a solid catalyst component for use in a Ziegler-Natta catalyst includes combining in a hydrocarbon solvent a porous particulate support with a hydrocarbon soluble organomagnesium compound to form a suspension. The organomagnesium compound is halogenated followed by addition of an alcohol and the mixture is then reacted with a titanium compound followed by a reaction with at least one diether compound to form the solid catalyst component. Afterwards the reaction product is extracted with a mixture of a titanium compound and a hydrocarbon solvent. The solid catalyst component recovered is combined with an aluminum cocatalyst to form a Ziegler-Natta catalyst system for the polymerization of olefins. In particular, the catalyst system including a diether internal electron donor may have an activity and hydrogen response suitable for the production of propylene polymers having a molecular weight distribution (PI(GPC)) in the range from about 5.75 to about 9.

High performance Ziegler-Natta catalyst systems, process for producing such supported catalysts and use thereof

A process for the polymerization of propylene is disclosed. The process may include contacting, in a gas phase polymerization reactor, propylene and optionally one or more comonomers with a catalyst system comprising a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and an external electron donor system comprising di(bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-yl)dimethoxysilane.

Sterically demanding dialkokxydialkylsilanes as external donors for Ziegler catalysts for the polymerization of propylene

Certain metallocene compounds are provided that, when used as a component in a supported polymerization catalyst under industrially relevant polymerization conditions, afford high molar mass homo polymers or copolymers like polypropylene or propylene/ethylene copolymers without the need for any &#x3b1;-branched substituent in either of the two available 2-positions of the indenyl ligands. The substituent in the 2-position of one indenyl ligand can be any radical comprising hydrogen, methyl, or any other C-Chydrocarbon which is not branched in the &#x3b1;-position, and the substituent in the 2-position of the other indenyl ligand can be any C-Chydrocarbon radical with the proviso that this hydrocarbon radical is branched in the &#x3b2;-position. This metallocene topology affords high melting point, very high molar mass homo polypropylene and very high molar mass propylene-based copolymers. The activity/productivity levels of catalysts including the metallocenes of the present invention are exceptionally high.

Metallocene compounds, catalysts comprising them, process for producing an olefin polymer by use of the catalysts, and olefin homo- and copolymers

This metallocene topology affords high melting point, very high molar mass homo polypropylene and very high molar mass propylene-based copolymers. Furthermore, the activity/productivity levels of catalysts comprising the metallocenes of the present invention are exceptionally high.
