In order to produce a variable valve lift device for the lift adjustment of the gas-exchange valves of an internal combustion engine, by means of which with adjustment forces and holding forces, independently from whether said holding forces and adjustment forces are applied mechanically, hydraulically or electrically, with an adjustment of the valve lift being as cost-effective as possible, and with maximum accuracy of the adjustment or control of the valve lift to be taken between the individual cylinders of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, and, moreover, the adjustment possibility of the valve lift of the valves of an internal combustion engine with several cylinders is obtained within smallest tolerances, it is suggested that a valve lift device () has a rotatable eccentric shaft (), which consists of several eccentrics () and whereby all possible contours of the eccentrics () are positioned within a circle, which is formed by means of the external diameters of a bearing () of the eccentric shaft ().

A gear actuator for engaging and disengaging gears in an automatic manual transmission has a single working piston or two working pistons provided with a first working piston surface and a second working piston surface. An auxiliary piston is provided also. A pressure control valve controls a pressure supplied to the second working piston surface. A shut-off valve is provided. The first working piston surface and the pressure valve are supplied with a system pressure of a hydraulic system. The first working piston surface and the pressure control valve can be decoupled from the system pressure of the hydraulic system by the shut-off valve.

An actuating device for a differential lock has a piston housing having a pressure chamber. An actuator piston is arranged in the pressure chamber of the piston housing. A hydraulic medium tank is provided. A pump conveys a hydraulic medium from the tank to one end of the actuator piston, wherein the actuator piston can move in the pressure chamber and acts on the lock when loaded by the hydraulic medium. One or more conduits connect the hydraulic medium tank and the pressure chamber to one another. The conduit has a temperature-dependent throttle element for adjusting a flow cross-section for the hydraulic medium based on the temperature of the hydraulic medium.
