A cable marker strip includes two rows of cable markers which are arranged behind one another in a cable direction. The cable marker strip includes a labeling track which has one labeling surface for each cable marker, wherein one fastening structure is provided for each cable marker on a fastening surface of the labeling track. The fastening surface lies opposite the labeling surface and has a connecting track and two holding limbs which are connected to the connecting track, which lie opposite one another, and together define a cable receptacle. Starting from the connecting track, spacing the holding limbs from one another decreases in the region of the cable receptacle so that the cable receptacle tapers. A printer for printing the cable marker strip and a method for printing the cable marker strip by way of the printer are also provided. The printer includes a print head which is arranged above pressure bars for the rows of cable markers.

A marking strip has a plurality of marking elements which are connected to each other by a connecting region. The marking strip having the marking elements is designed to mark electrical devices, in particular electrical devices that can be arranged next to each other such as terminal blocks. Each of the marking elements has a marking plate including at least one writing field which can be provided with information. On the side facing away from the writing field, each of the marking elements has a locking contour which is integrally connected with the marking plate. The marking strip is formed of at least two different plastic materials of different hardness. The locking contour of each marking element is formed of a harder plastic material, and the marking plate is formed of a softer plastic material at least in the region of the writing field. The connecting region between the marking elements is formed of the softer plastic material.

Marking strip

A connector marker for identifying an electrical conductor includes a marker body formed of a synthetic plastic material and a pair of generally planar half sections normally arranged in an initial open condition in horizontal coplanar side-by-side relation. At least one of the half sections has an upper surface carrying labeling indicia. At least one integral film hinge device connects the adjacent side edges of the half sections, thereby to afford pivotal displacement of the half sections about a given pivot axis from the open condition toward a closed condition enclosing the electrical conductor to be marked. At least one non-skid element extends from the hinge device for non-skid engagement with the outer peripheral surface of the conductor as the half sections are pivotally displaced from the open condition to the closed condition, thereby to prevent longitudinal slipping of the marker body relative to the conductor.

Conductor marker

Printing apparatus is provided for printing information on a vertical stack of horizontal vertically-spaced planar objects arranged in a housing, including a separating arrangement for removing the lowermost object from the stack, and a printing device for printing information on the removed object. The stack is supported by a plurality of support arrangements each including a support member mounted for reciprocatory horizontal displacement by an electromagnetic drive device between positions that are adjacent and remote from the stack, respectively. Each support member is guided during this displacement by a guide arrangement including at least one guide lever having a first end pivotally connected with the housing, and a second end connected with a guide follower roller that is in engagement with a guide cam surface carried by the support member. The generation of noise is avoided as a consequence of the accurate guidance of the components.

Printer having separating device

A marking arrangement serves to identify the various conductors connected with the contacts of an electrical connector, including a plurality of indicia-bearing marking members that are respectively connected with the actuating elements that selectively unlock the resilient retaining devices that fasten the conductors to the connector body. The marking members include shaft portions that extend longitudinally into openings contained in one end of the longitudinally-displaceable actuating members, respectively. The other ends of the actuating members are in engagement with the retaining springs that normally bias the conductors into electrical engagement with conductor seats on contacts contained within the connector through ducts, respectively.

Electrical connector having conductor marking means

A marking device for a generally cylindrical conductor of fluids, electricity, light waves and the like includes a hollow shell containing a horizontal longitudinal through passage for receiving one of a plurality of conductors of different diametric sizes, the shell being horizontally divided to define an upper shell section having a lower internal surface provided with a conductor seat, and a lower shell section including an internal resilient support device for biasing the conductor laterally upwardly toward the seat. An indicia-bearing plate is connected with the external surface of the upper shell section directly above the conductor seat. The conductor seat, the indicia-bearing plate, and the biasing device are symmetrically arranged relative to the vertical plane passing longitudinally through the shell, whereby the biasing forces are uniformly balanced for conductors having different diametric sizes.

Marking device

A label transport device for transporting indicia-bearing labels for identifying electrical and electronic components, comprising a generally rectangular carrier frame member having a generally planar support surface, a generally rectangular planar indicia-bearing label, and a mounting arrangement for mounting the label on the carrier frame, including at least one positioning tab member connected with one edge of the label, and a positioning lug arranged on one of the frame and tab members for engagement with an opening contained in the other of the tab and frame members, thereby to position the label at a given transport location on the carrier frame member. The frame is injection-molded from a synthetic plastic material and includes a plurality of parallel spaced longitudinal spars that are connected together integrally by a plurality of parallel transverse spars.
