A suction device may include a suction channel, a first valve, and a second valve. The suction channel may include a first suction portion and a second suction portion disposed opposite one another in a transverse direction. The first valve may be arranged in the first suction portion. The first valve may include a first valve seat and a moveable first valve body. The second valve may be arranged in the second suction portion. The second valve may include a second valve seat and a moveable second valve body. When a transverse acceleration is equal to or greater than a predefined transverse acceleration, one of the first valve and the second valve may close while the other one of the first valve and the second valve remains open. When the transverse acceleration is less than the predefined transverse acceleration, the first valve and the second valve may both be open.

Suction device

A filter device having a filter element received in a filter housing, the filter housing has an inlet and an outlet. The filter element separates a crude chamber that communicates with the inlet from a pure chamber that communicates with the outlet. The filter element has an axially and eccentrically projecting plug, which in an inserted state, is plugged into a plug receptacle formed within the filter housing, and wherein at least one signal generator recognizes at least one of a presence and an absence of the plug in the plug receptacle, generating at least one signal.

Filter device

An oil purifying liquid filter, having an annular ring element receiving space, wherein the ring element has two axial end disks, a cover selectively fastened to a housing to close the receiving space, an inlet that is formed within the housing on a crude side, an outlet that is formed within the housing on a pure side, a first additional opening that is formed within the housing, a second additional opening that is formed within the cover, a first closure that is formed on the first end disk of the filter element in order to close the first additional opening, and a second closure that is formed on the second end disk of the filter element to selectively close the second additional opening.

Method for purifying oil and apparatus therefor

A filter assembly, having a housing including a housing bottom portion; at least one ring filter element that is received by at least one receiving space defined at least in part by the housing, wherein the receiving space includes a receiving space bottom portion; a cover attached to the housing bottom portion and configured for at least partially enclosing the at least one receiving space and the ring filter element, wherein the at least one receiving space may be selectively emptied when the cover is removed; an outlet located at the receiving space bottom portion within the cover; and a closure located on the at least one ring filter element, wherein the closure is configured to at least partially close the outlet when the at least one ring filter element is inserted into the at least one receiving space.
