There are provided measures for enabling/realizing latency-bounded packet delivery in a mobile communication system, particularly in a mobile communication system (or mobile networking) being integrated in a time-sensitive communication system (or time-sensitive networking). Such measures exemplarily comprise that a quality-of-service flow within a packet data unit session in a mobile communication system is configured by a quality-of-service profile of deterministic communication based on setting information of the quality-of-service profile of deterministic communication, in which minimum required latency and maximum allowed latency for delivery of user plane data packets are defined, said quality-of-service flow being for delivery of user plane data packets including data of a time-sensitive communication system, a user plane data packet is received in the configured quality-of-service flow within the packet data unit session, and the received user plane data packet is processed in accordance with the quality-of-service profile of deterministic communication.

Latency-bounded packet delivery in mobile communication system

A transceiver includes a transmit signal path, a receive signal path, an amplifier, and control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to couple the amplifier in the transmit signal path to amplify a transmit signal during a transmit operating mode of the transceiver. Furthermore, the control circuitry is configured to couple the amplifier in the receive signal path to amplify a receive signal during a receive operating mode of the transceiver.

The Apparatus () is suitable for a base band unit () of a base station transceiver () of a mobile communication system (), the base station transceiver () further comprising one or more radio units () configured to wirelessly communicate with the base band unit () using one or more wireless fronthaul links. The apparatus () comprises at least one output () configured to transmit a downlink component of the one or more wireless fronthaul links to the one or more radio units (). The apparatus () further comprises at least one input () configured to receive an uplink component of the one or more wireless fronthaul links from the one or more radio units (). The apparatus () further comprises a control module () configured to control the at least one output () and the at least one input (). The control module () is further configured to transmit a reference signal via the at least one output () to the one or more radio units (). The control module () is further configured to receive a loopback version of the reference signal via the at least one input () from the one or more radio units (). The control module () is further configured to determine transmission control information based on an attenuation of the reference signal determined based on the loopback version of the reference signal. The transmission control information comprises information related to a per-radio unit transmission power to be used by the one or more radio units () for transmissions on the one or more wireless fronthaul links. The control module () is further configured to provide the transmission control information to the one or more radio units () via the at least one output ().

Determining base station fronthaul transmission control based on loopback signal

The embodiments of the invention relate to a transmitter method for multiple antenna systems. The transmitter method contains the step of operating at least one antenna array in a first operation mode by transmitting first transmit signals (TS-, TS-, TS-A) from a first number of antenna elements (AEG) with a first transmit power and the step of operating the at least one antenna array in at least one second operation mode by transmitting at least second transmit signals (TS-, TS-, TS-B, TS-, TS-C, TS-C) from at least one second number of antenna elements (AEG, AEG) smaller than the first number of antenna elements with at least one second transmit power larger than the first transmit power. The embodiments of the invention further relate to a transmitter apparatus for multiple antenna systems. The transmitter apparatus contains means for operating at least one antenna array in a first operation mode by transmitting first transmit signals (TS-, TS-, TS-A) from a first number of antenna elements (SUB-G) with a first transmit power and for operating the at least one antenna array in at least one second operation mode by transmitting second transmit signals (TS-, TS-, TS-B, TS-, TS-, TS-C) from at least one second number of antenna elements (SUB-G, SUB-G) smaller than the first number of antenna elements with at least one second transmit power larger than the first transmit power. The embodiments of the invention even further relate to a network node, which contains the transmitter apparatus.
