An embodiment integrated circuit (IC) clock distributor system includes a first IC. The first IC includes a clock synchronizer circuit and a clock generator circuit. The clock synchronizer circuit includes a first input coupled to a first clock transfer path including a replica delay of a portion of a first signal path included in an external IC. The clock synchronizer circuit also includes a second input coupled to a second clock transfer path. The clock generator circuit also includes an input coupled to an output of at least one of a reference oscillator and the clock synchronizer circuit. Delay of the second clock transfer path includes delay of the first signal path.

System and method for integrated circuit clock distribution

Embodiments provide a radio frequency (RF) switching apparatus including an RF switching device configured to receive an RF input signal and to pass an RF output signal if the RF switching device is activated. The RF switching apparatus may include a control terminal to receive a control signal to activate the RF switching device. A gate resistor may be coupled between the control terminal and a gate terminal of the RF switching device. A helper circuit may be coupled in parallel with the gate resistor. The helper circuit may be configured to provide a temporary conductive path between the control terminal and the gate terminal in response to a state transition of the control signal. The helper circuit may provide an open circuit between the control terminal and the gate terminal during a steady state of the control signal between state transitions.

According to an embodiment, a method is provided that includes: adapting the impedance of the load dependent on working conditions of the active device using a controllable output-side adaptation network coupled between an output-side terminal of a transformer and an output-side node, to generate an adapted impedance of the load, adjusting the adapted impedance independent of the working conditions of the active device, using the transformer including a first inductor having a first terminal to receive the output of the active device via the input-side node, a second inductor having an output-side terminal, where the second inductor is magnetically coupled to the first inductor.

An electrical circuit including components which cooperate with each other, in which a component of the electrical circuit which is waiting for an action to be carried out by another component, is notified by an acknowledgement signal shortly before the implementation of the action that implementation of the action is imminent. The electrical circuit optionally includes a clock generator containing a master clock generator, a clock control unit and several clock signal producing units. The master clock generator produces a master clock signal which is supplied to all of the clock signal producing units. The clock control unit produces several release signals that are respectively supplied to each clock signal producing unit. Each clock signal producing unit passes part of the master clock signal in response to the received release signal, and transfers the passed signal as a clock signal to at least one component of the electrical circuit.
