A protector for a razor cartridge is provided. The protector includes a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis and having a front face and a rear face. The protector further is provided with a first comb disposed on the front face and a second comb opposite the first comb. The protector also includes a first trimming blade has a first cutting edge and a second trimming blade opposite the first trimming blade has a second cutting edge. The first comb and the second comb have several teeth projecting along an axis that is oblique to the longitudinal axis defining a trimming length. The trimming length is adjustable. The teeth of the first comb protrude forwardly with respect to the first cutting edge and the teeth of the second comb protrude forwardly with respect to the second cutting edge.

A packaging for a shaver may include a shell configured to shift between a closed configuration and an open configuration, wherein the shell is configured to receive the shaver. The packaging may also include an image of the shaver disposed on an outer surface of the shell, and an actuator coupled to the outer surface of shell, the actuator being disposed within the image of the shaver, and wherein activation of the actuator while the shell is in the closed configuration, causes the shell to shift from the closed configuration to the open configuration.

A razor handle that includes an elongated hollow housing having an opening provided on a front end, a razor head carrier which is slidably mounted in a recess between a first non-shaving position in which the razor head carrier is retracted and located inside the recess, a second shaving position, and a sliding mechanism for moving the razor head carrier. The razor handle further includes a lock-and-release mechanism to hold a razor head, provided with a release member mounted on the razor head carrier. When the razor head carrier is in the first non-shaving position, the release member is hidden inside the housing to prevent the release of the razor head locked on the razor head carrier.

A razor handle for a retractable shaving cartridge that includes an elongated body having a hollow housing provided with an opening at the front end of the body, and a shaving cartridge carrier movable between a shaving position and a non-shaving position. A release mechanism that includes an actuating member is provided to actuate the release mechanism so as to release a shaving cartridge. In addition, a control mechanism includes a control member for controlling the actuating member only when the shaving cartridge carrier is in the shaving position. The elongated body further includes a guide adapted for guiding the control member.
