The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire with a material ring () inside it, adhesively attached to the inner surface opposite from the tread (), the material ring () adhering to a self-sealing sealant (), which at least immediately after its application has a tackiness required for the adhesive attachment of the material ring (). To improve the sealing effect, the material ring () arranged on the sealant () is closed-cell and airtight.

Pneumatic vehicle tire

A pneumatic vehicle tire has a structured tread which transitions at both sides into sidewalls the end of which is formed by a tire bead which is insertable in air-tight fashion into a wheel rim of a vehicle wheel equipped with the pneumatic vehicle tire, such that an air cavity filled with compressed air is formed between wheel rim and pneumatic vehicle tire. The pneumatic vehicle tire has, on its inner surface situated opposite the tread, a foamed material layer. The porosity of the foamed material layer amounts to between 70% and 99% of the total volume of the foamed material layer.

The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tyre with a sound-absorbing inner absorber () adhesively attached in its interior to the inner surface () opposite from the tread (), wherein the inner absorber () adheres to an automatically sealing sealant (), which at least immediately after being applied has the tackiness required for the adhesive attachment. In order not to influence the flow properties of the sealant disadvantageously and in order to ensure a reliable sealing effect of the sealant, a separating layer () is arranged between the sealant () and the inner absorber () and the separating layer () is made in such a way as to ensure a sufficient flowability of the sealant () for the sealing and a reliable adhesive attachment of the foam ring ().

A pneumatic vehicle tire is provided. The tire includes a tread, an inner surface lying opposite the tread, a self-sealing sealant and a sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring arranged inside the pneumatic vehicle tire. The foam ring is adhesively attached to the inner surface and adheres to the self-sealing sealant which is applied before the sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring is attached to the inner surface. The self-sealing sealant has, at least immediately after being applied, a tackiness required for an adhesive attachment of the sound-absorbing open-cell foam ring. A closed-cell material ring is arranged between the sound-absorbing foam ring and the self-sealing sealant to prevent a diffusion of the sealant into the open-cell foam ring. The closed-cell material ring effects an airtight condition.

Self-sealing tire sealants are provided which contain fragments and/or residues of expanded solids, where the solids are selected from the group containing expandable graphite and microspheres. In some aspects, the microspheres include at least isobutane and/or isopentane as blowing agents. The microspheres may also have a shell containing at least one polymer, and in some cases the polymer is at least one copolymer of acrylonitrile and methyl acrylate. The self-sealing tire sealant may further include graphene structures. In some aspects the interior of a pneumatic vehicle tire has the self-sealing tire sealant disposed on the inner surface, opposite the tire tread, and the layer thickness of the tire sealant may be from 0.5 to 8 mm.
