A dialysis machine has a balancing system with a balancing chamber for a volumetrically exact supply and removal of dialysis solution to and from a dialyzer fluidically connected to the balancing system in operation; a water inlet system connected to the balancing system for the supply of fresh dialysis liquid, with the water inlet system having an apparatus for degassing water that is connected to an air separator of the dialysis machine, with a first subsection of the air separator serving as a mixing chamber and being connectable to at least one concentrate source via at least one concentrate line and being in fluid communication with the balancing system via at least one dialysate line, wherein the filling volume of a balancing chamber corresponds to or exceeds the sum of the volume of the mixing chamber and the inner volume of the dialysate line.

Dialysis machine

A dialysis machine has a dialyzer (D), a water inlet system for supplying the dialyzer (D) with fresh dialysis fluid which is connected to the dialyzer and an external water supply and with a line for used dialysis fluid, which is in communication with the dialyzer (D). The water inlet system includes a container for water or other liquid, in particular for RO water. The dialysis machine includes a heat exchanger connected with the line for used dialysis fluid and with the water inlet system so that heat is transferred from the used dialysis fluid to the liquid present in the water inlet system. The container includes means for physical separation of the external water supply and the downstream portions of the water inlet system, preferably a free-fall path for incoming liquid from the water supply, and the heat exchanger is arranged downstream of the container.

An equipment housing, in particular the housing of a blood treatment device, having a housing wall and a closing flap for closing an opening in the housing wall. The closing flap is rotatably mounted with respect to a coupling element via a second pivot whereby the coupling element is rotatably mounted with respect to the housing wall via a first pivot. With the two pivots, the closing flapcan be disposed in at least a second and a third opened working position, in both of which positions the opening in the housing wall is not closed.
