A mechanism is disclosed for operating local version-independent service program code for infrastructure services, wherein the mechanism is automatically and optionally linked to a central, remote service infrastructure, and wherein both an online and an offline processing mode is included and automatically supported, and wherein the mechanism is embedded in a generic runtime environment. In at least one embodiment, it contains service program code implemented in the runtime environment for calling by way of the application program code with standardized interfaces, wherein the service program code is intended for the provision of functionalities for predetermined services that an application program code can use.

Infrastructure service architecture for applications

A method, computer readable medium and system are disclosed. At least one embodiment of a method includes receiving one of a character and a string; determining a character string part space based on a remaining portion of a character string part capacity, of an existing array element, and a length of one of the character and the string; and one of (1) storing one of the character and the string in the existing array element if the length of one of the character and the string is less than or equal to the remaining character string part capacity of an existing array element and (2) adding a new array element and storing one of the character and the string in the new array element if the length of one of the character and the string is greater than the remaining character string part capacity of an existing array element.

Method, computer readable medium and system for allocation and management of memory in runtime environments

A method, a system and a computer program are disclosed for the load-balanced allocation of computer-aided medical task flows on at least one application server of a server farm. In at least one embodiment, request conditions and load information are configured in a configuration phase. The request conditions are then recorded in a load balancing phase. In addition the load information is recorded via load calculation agents. A load balancing service can then calculate a target application server, which according to the load information determined meets all recorded request conditions.
