A method of conveying plastics material pre-forms includes the plastics material pre-forms supplied to a conveying device by a supply device. The conveying device has a first roller body and a second roller body. The plastics material pre-form is conveyed between these roller bodies. A portion of the plastics material pre-forms is supported by the two roller bodies. A further portion of the plastics material pre-forms passes through between the roller bodies. At least one first value characteristic of a state of occupation of the plastics material pre-forms is detected by a first measuring instrument. A second value characteristic is detected by a second measuring instrument downstream of the first measuring instrument in the conveying direction of the plastics material pre-forms. A setting variable of the supply device or the conveying device is controlled on the basis of the two values.

An apparatus for the conveying of plastics material containers and, in particular, plastics material pre-forms with a first roller arranged so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis, with a second roller arranged so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis, wherein the first roller and the second roller are arranged with respect to each other such that the plastics material containers can be conveyed between these rollers, wherein the plastics material container is supported by the two rollers during conveying. At least one roller has a main body produced from a first material and a layer which surrounds this main body in its peripheral direction and which is produced from a plastics material differing from the first material, wherein this layer acts as a contact layer for contacting the plastics material containers.

An apparatus () for the conveying of plastics material pre-forms () along a pre-set conveying path (P) with a first guide rail () and a second guide rail () for guiding the plastics material pre-forms (), wherein the plastics material pre-forms () are guided between the guide rails () and the guide rails () have in each case first support faces () which extend along the conveying path (P) and which support the plastics material pre-forms () during the conveying thereof. The apparatus () has a stressing device () for acting upon the plastics material pre-forms () with a gaseous medium. The plastics material pre-forms are conveyed along their conveying path by being acted upon with the gaseous medium, and a geometrical position of the guide rails is capable of being altered with respect to each other.

Apparatus for the conveying of plastics material preforms

A roll sorter device has a first roll that can be driven rotatably about its roll axis and a second roll that can be driven rotatably about its roll axis opposite the rotation of the first roll. The second roll is arranged spaced from the first roll such that the roll axes of the first and second rolls are arranged substantially parallel to each other. The roll sorter device may include a detection device for detecting seized and/or faulty preforms on the first or second roll and a roll arrangement modification element to modify the arrangement of the first and second rolls to each other when the detection device detects seized preforms. A sorting method for sorting performs and a transport device may employ the aforementioned roll sorter device.

A device and a method for orienting objects, in particular preforms for the manufacture of plastic containers, where the preforms are handed over to the entry side of an orientation section via a feeding conveyor, and a discharge means is provided which returns non-oriented preforms via a return feeder. For a constructively simple and quick return, the discharge means is connected directly with the entry side of the orientation section via the return conveyor.

Device for orienting objects

A conveyor device for containers having a receiving rail for receiving a neck area of the containers, the containers being held by the receiving rail and are movable within this receiving rail. Guide mechanisms are provided with guide elements that are arranged beneath the receiving rail and guide the movement of the containers. The guide elements are movable in the longitudinal direction of the containers and the movements in the longitudinal direction of the containers of a plurality of different guide elements are mechanically linked to one another.

This invention relates to an air conveyor for conveying articles with a collar and a head arranged above that, in particular plastic bottles along a conveyor channel having two carrying strips arranged along the conveyor channel on which the articles are conveyed by suspending them from the collars, and having a head space having inclined side walls formed above the carrying strips. Air nozzles, which act upon the heads of the articles, are provided in the inclined side walls. This counteracts a tendency of the articles to become tilted or jammed together.
