There is provided a circuit assembly for time-discretizing an analog electrical signal, including an input terminal supplying the analog electrical signal, an output terminal providing a time-discrete signal depending on the supplied analog electrical signal and a sample and hold circuit, which comprises a capacitor connected to the output terminal, an electronic switching unit connected between the input terminal and the output terminal and a control unit controlling the switching unit, wherein the switching unit provides an off-state due to an off-signal of the control unit and an on-state due to an on-signal of the control unit, wherein the switching unit provides an electrical resistance in the on-state, which cooperates with the capacitor and comprises a preset resistance value, such that the sample and hold circuit provides a low-pass with preset cut-off frequency. There is further provided a detection device and lighting device with such a circuit assembly.

Circuit assembly for time-discretizing an analog electrical signal

A circuit arrangement for operating at least a first and a second cascade of LEDs is provided including an input having a first and a second input connection for coupling to a rectified AC supply voltage, a voltage equalization series impedance, and at least a higher and a lower LED units which include cascades. The connection of the LED cascade that is not coupled to a first diode is a second node, and the second node of the lowest LED unit is coupled to a voltage equalization series impedance such that the impedance is coupled in series between the second node and the second input connection. In not-the-lowest LED unit, a fourth node is at any rate a node of the circuit arrangement that is at a lower potential, at least during a prescribable period during the circuit arrangement operation, than the second node.

Circuit arrangement for operating at least a first and a second cascade of LEDs

An LED arrangement includes a first LED chain having first LEDs; a second LED chain having second LEDs; a circuit arrangement for coupling the first and second LED chains to a supply source; wherein the circuit arrangement is configured such that the first and second LED chains can be coupled to or decoupled from the supply source, wherein the first LED chain can be coupled to the supply source at first points in time and the second LED chain can be coupled to the supply source at second points in time; wherein the circuit arrangement is configured such that, in the case of a coupling of the LED arrangement to the supply source, a current having a first average current intensity through the first LED chain and a current having a second average current intensity through the second LED chain, wherein the LEDs are arranged depending on their current intensities.

LED arrangement

A circuit arrangement for operating at least a first and a second cascade of LEDs is provided. The LED cascades have a different number of LEDs, which are operated alternately in a manner adapted to the instantaneous value of the rectified AC supply voltage by a suitable drive logic. The cascades are assigned to LED units, wherein each unit includes a driving device for driving the respective cascade. The units are coupled in series between the two input terminals, wherein the input terminals are formed by the output of a rectifier. A linear regulator is provided in series with the cascades, said linear regulator being driven via a voltage divider coupled between the two input terminals. An auxiliary voltage supply is provided for operating the respective driving devices, wherein the auxiliary voltage is generated from the voltage dropped across the linear regulator during the operation of the circuit arrangement.
