A battery module housing for receiving multiple battery cells having: multiple receiving regions for the battery cells, battery cell receiving regions, a receiving region for a circuit board, circuit board receiving region that lies adjacent to the battery cells receiving regions; and multiple receiving regions for cell connectors, cell connector receiving regions that are provided adjacent to some of the battery cell receiving regions. At least one centering unit is provided for a cell connector within at least one of the cell connector receiving regions.

A mobile, in particular portable, energy supply system having battery modules which can be connected in series in a controllable manner in order to provide different voltages at a power supply connection of the energy supply system, and a control unit for controlling the battery modules, wherein each battery module has an input connection and an output connection, a battery unit for providing a module voltage and switching elements, in particular power electronic ones. A charging device for charging an energy accumulator unit, in particular a battery pack, of a hand-held power tool. The charging device includes a cooling device for cooling the energy accumulator unit, in particular the battery pack, a charger housing, which at least in sections forms an outer housing, and a receptacle unit which may detachably accommodate the energy accumulator unit, and is provided to accommodate the energy accumulator unit in a connected state and/or hold it at the charging device. The cooling device is provided to form an airflow directed onto the energy accumulator unit in such a way that the airflow at least in sections flows around the energy accumulator unit.

Charging device

A method is described for charging an accumulator having terminals at which a terminal voltage is applied. The method includes the following steps: (a) charging the accumulator using a predefined current or a predefined electrical power until the terminal voltage has reached a predefined first value; (b) determining a time-dependent drop in the terminal voltage of the accumulator at a reduced charge current; (c) determining a second value on the basis of the voltage loss, the second value being greater than the first value; and (d) charging the accumulator using a predefined current or a predefined electrical power until the terminal voltage of the accumulator has reached the second value.
