A lubrication system includes a progressive distributor that is configured to dispense lubricant to a consumer. The lubrication system also includes a control device and at least one sensor that is configured to determine at least one lubricant pressure inside the lubrication system. The control device is configured to receive measured values from the at least one sensor and to recognize a lubrication cycle based on the measured values and also to determine an average pressure of the lubrication cycle, to perform a comparison of the average pressure and at least one normal pressure of the lubrication system, and to determine a state of the lubrication system based on a result of the comparison.

Lubricating system

A lubrication system includes a progressive distributor and at least one pressure sensor. The progressive distributor includes a housing block having a lubricant inlet, a plurality of lubricant outlets, a plurality of piston bores fluidically connected to the lubricant inlet, each of the plurality of piston bores having a first outlet bore and a second outlet bore, and a metering piston in each of the plurality of piston bores. Each of the metering pistons is displaceable in a respective one of the plurality of outlet bores to uncover either the first outlet bore or the second outlet bore. The pressure sensor is disposed at an inlet of the progressive distributor upstream of the metering pistons with respect to a lubricant flow direction and configured to determine a lubricant pressure.

Lubrication system

A progressive distributor for lubricant includes a housing block having an inlet and a plurality of outlets and a plurality of metering pistons received in associated piston bores in the housing block. Each piston bore is associated with two lubricant outlet bores, and each metering piston is displaceable and configured to alternatingly release the one or the other lubricant outlet bore in order to dispense the metered lubricant amount to the lubricant outlet bore. The piston bores are fluidically connected to the lubricant inlet bore and to each other via connecting bores in order to transfer lubricant to the other piston bores. A dummy piston is disposed in one of the piston bores that permanently closes both the lubricant inlet bore and both lubricant outlet bores, and includes at least one bypass passageway that fluidically connects two of the connecting bores to each other.

Progressive distributor for lubricant

A lubricant pumping system includes a lubricant pump having a lubricant pumping space, a first seal configured to seal the lubricant pumping space, at least one signal detector, and a leakage detector for detecting leakage of a lubricant from the pumping space through the first seal and sending a signal to the signal detector in response to a detection of the leakage of the lubricant. The signal detector may produce a visual or acoustic output in response to receipt of the signal.

Lubricant pumping system

A progressive distributor includes a housing block with an inlet bore and outlet bores and first and second metering pistons in first and second piston bores. Each piston defines first and second annular workspaces and delimits first and second metering spaces at the ends of each piston, the first and second piston bores each having a central axis and being disposed one atop the other so that their central axes are parallel to each other and located in a central plane. Switching bores connect the metering spaces of the first metering piston to the workspaces of the second metering piston, and the switching bores are located on opposite sides of the central plane.

A lubricating-grease pump includes a pumping chamber, a leakage accumulation chamber, a seal configured to substantially seal the pumping chamber from the leakage accumulation chamber, at least one outlet from the pumping chamber, and at least one leakage-recovery arrangement configured to guide a quantity of grease that has leaked from the pumping chamber into the leakage accumulation chamber back into the pumping chamber. The leakage-recovery arrangement may include a first passageway connecting the leakage accumulation chamber to a storage region, a second passageway connecting the first passageway to the pumping chamber and a spring-biased piston in the storage region.

A lubricant reservoir system includes a lubricant reservoir having an interior wall and an inlet for receiving lubricant from a supply. A follower device in the reservoir contacts the interior wall of the reservoir in a sliding and sealing manner, and the follower device is movable up and down in the reservoir from a first position to a second position in response to a changing lubricant level. A valve is in fluid communication with the inlet and is configured to selectively prevent a flow of the lubricant through the inlet. A connector operatively connects the follower device to the valve unit such that the flow of the lubricant through the inlet is prevented when the follower device is in the second position. The connector is configured such that the valve is positionable independently of the reservoir.

Lubricant reservoir system

A lubricant application device includes a base body configured to be mounted to an end surface of a gear. The base body includes a port configured to be connected to a source of lubricant and a holder for holding a lubricant applicator supported by the base body. A lubricant passage connects the port to the holder, and a lubricant applicator is mounted in the holder. The lubricant applicator is a coiled wire defining an internal passage for carrying the lubricant and may include a first length of coils with no axial spacing and a second length of coils that are axial spaced.

A lubricant supplying device includes a feed pump that serves to pump lubricant from a lubricant reservoir to at least one lubrication point. A method for operating the lubricant supplying device includes measuring at least one operating parameter, such as temperature (T), of at least one part of a system to be lubricated and/or of the lubricant and/or of the environment. The at least one measured operating parameter (T) is supplied to a controller, where a required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}) of lubricant is determined based on a stored functional relationship ({dot over (V)}=&#x192; (T)) that generates the required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}) based upon the measured operating parameter (T). The feed pump is then actuated in order to achieve the determined, required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}).

A device for detecting a movement of a piston of a lubricant distributor includes a movable actuator including a first magnet element, and a movable indicator including a second magnet element. The actuator is configured to be moved from an initial actuator position to an end actuator position by a movement of the piston, and the actuator and the indicator are configured and disposed such that a repulsive magnetic force prevails between them such that the indicator is moved from an initial indicator position to an end indicator position by the movement of the actuator from the initial actuator position toward the end actuator position.

Detection device and lubricant distributor

A device for detecting a movement of a piston of a lubricant distributor includes a movable actuator including a first magnet element, and a movable indicator including a second magnet element. The actuator is configured to be moved from an initial actuator position to an end actuator position by a movement of the piston, and the actuator and the indicator are configured and disposed such that a magnetic force prevails between them such that the indicator is moved from an initial indicator position to an end indicator position by the movement of the actuator from the initial actuator position toward the end actuator position.

A gear lubricant line device includes a base body configured to attach to an end surface of a gear and a mount including a holder for a lubricant applicator. The mount is slidably mounted on the base body and releasably fixable to the base body to hold the lubricant applicator in a desired position relative to a tooth base of the gear.

An oil-air lubricant distributor with a tubular distributor body that includes an oil-air mixture inlet and a plurality of lubrication-point outlets for dispensing the oil-air mixture to at least one consumer, wherein the lubrication-point outlets are connected to the oil-air mixture inlet via line channels, and the line channels are provided with an oil-air mixture from a mixture distributor unit, the mixture distributor unit including a single oil inlet, a single air inlet, and a plurality of oil-air-mixture outlets, and wherein the oil-air mixture inlet is directly but releasably connected to the mixture distributor, and the oil-air-mixture outlets are directly but releasably fluidly connected to the line channels in the tubular distributor body.
