The invention relates to a method for associating tire sensor modules () with a trailer vehicle (), having at least the following steps: According to the invention, each tire sensor module () detects a wheel position associated with the respective tire sensor module () and a trailer axle configuration, so that for an accepted tire sensor module () the wheel position and the trailer axle configuration can be taken as a basis for making a positional association on the driver's own trailer vehicle ().

A method monitors the tire pressure of a multiplicity of parked vehicles or vehicle trailers. The method has the following steps: making available a drone with a receiver unit for acquiring radio-based tire data from a tire pressure control system, wherein the drone is stationed at a base station; lifting off of the drone from the base station and flying along a predefined flight route, wherein the drone flies along a flight route above the vehicles or the vehicle trailers, wherein, while flying along the flight route, the drone takes into account the transmitter range of the respective tire pressure control systems; receiving tire data from one tire pressure control system or a multiplicity of tire pressure control systems with the receiver unit of the drone; flying the drone back to the base station; and, evaluating the received tire data with a central receiver and control unit.

Method for monitoring vehicle tires with a tire pressure control system

A method via which tire modules can be associated with tire positions on a vehicle includes: inputting vehicle data and tire information via a mobile detecting device; analyzing the input information via the detecting device; providing an instruction to the user of the detecting device indicating the first tire for performing a first tire module identification; positioning the detecting device near the first tire which is specified by the detecting device; activating an inquiry signal having a transmission frequency specified by the detecting device and a specified signal amplitude to a tire module arranged in the tire, wherein the tire module includes at least one sensor for tire-pressure monitoring; capturing a response signal from the tire module, wherein the response includes the identification data of the tire module; and, evaluating the response signal of the tire module and associating the identified tire module with a tire position.
