A device to control an electron beam for the generation of x-ray radiation, has an electron emitter to generate an electron beam, to which emitter an emitter voltage can be applied, a diaphragm, at least two control elements associated with the diaphragm to affect the electron beam, and switching arrangement with which at least two different electrical voltages can be applied to the at least two control elements. The same electrical voltage is applied to each of the at least two control elements. Upon switching the voltage, an electrical circuit that delays the setting of the respective voltage at the one control element is associated with the connection line of the one control element with the switching arrangement to switch over the voltage. The invention moreover concerns an operating method for the device and an x-ray tube provided with the device.

A method is proposed for correcting detector signals of a unit for reconstructing tomograms from projection data, in particular of a computer tomography unit, of a ray detector having a multiplicity of individual detector channels that form the projection data, attenuation values of individual X-rays being calculated after the passage through an examination object. In order to reconstruct the tomograms from attenuation values of the X-rays, the detector output signals are subjected to a nonlinearity correction before the calculation of the attenuation values.

Method for correcting detector signals of a unit for reconstructing tomograms from projection data

In method and module for calculation of an orthogonal x-ray attenuation of a subject using a measured reference x-ray attenuation in computed tomography, the reference x-ray attenuation and the orthogonal attenuation are provided as input quantities for an automatic dose control of the computed tomography apparatus. The positioning of the subject with regard to the rotation axis of the computed tomography apparatus is taken into account in the calculation of the orthogonal x-ray attenuation detection of the table height of the subject table.
