A wildlife warning system that comprises at least two independent warning devices, wherein each warning device has an electric power supply, at least one signal generator, a microcontroller for controlling the signal generator, and a communication means for wireless communication with other warning devices and/or with a base station for the purpose of forming a wireless network of wildlife warning devices.

Infrared (IR) receiving device

The present invention concerns a device for monitoring the pressure in at least two pressure-tight analysis vessels, that have been sealed by means of lids, whereby heat is supplied to the analysis vessels by means of a heating apparatus. The internal pressure of the analysis vessel acts on its lid. The lid is connected to a piston in a closed hydraulic system. The force, that is dependent on the internal pressure of the analysis vessel, is transferred by the lid to the piston in the hydraulic system. A lid and a piston are assigned to every analysis vessel. In addition, a stop device is assigned to each piston, whereby the stop device limits the outward movement of the piston in the event of excess pressure in the hydraulic system relative to the internal pressure of the analysis vessel. The pistons are connected to one another via the hydraulic system.

Device for monitoring the pressure in several analysis vessels

The present invention concerns a device for measuring the pressure and temperature in at least one pressure-tight analysis vessel, that has been sealed by means of a lid, whereby heat is supplied to the analysis vessel by means of a microwave oven. The device comprises a measurement device that is connected to a unit for controlling the microwave oven. In this regard, the measurement device is arranged in a microwave-tight housing inside the microwave field that is produced by the microwave oven. The housing is constructed in such a way that it forms a shield that is impermeable for the microwave field. A microwave-free zone is produced inside the housing. Electronic, current-carrying components can be arranged in the microwave-tight housing without, as a result, generating interference in the microwave field.

Microwave oven with temperature and pressure measuring device

The invention concerns a method and apparatus to produce a noble-gas plasma for excitation in optical emission spectrometry. The apparatus includes an hf generator feeding an oscillation circuit consisting of at least one inductor and one capacitor. The capcitor includes at least two capacitor plates which are so shaped and mutually arranged that they enclose a cavity in which the plasma may form.
