A device for coupling a universal joint shaft to a power take-off shaft () of a tractor has a first coupling mechanism () that is non-rotatably arranged on the universal joint shaft. A second coupling mechanism () is non-rotatably arranged on the power take-off shaft () of the tractor. The first and second coupling mechanisms can be non-rotatably coupled to transmit torque. A coupling shield () is provided to couple the coupling mechanism (). The first coupling mechanism () is at least indirectly rotationally supported on the coupling shield (). A locking mechanism (') projects from the coupling shield (). A bracket () is attachable on the rear of the tractor. The bracket () has at least one locking device (&#x2032;) that is displaceable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The locking device (&#x2032;) is displaced from the unlocked position into the locked position. The locking device (&#x2032;) interacts with the locking members (&#x2032;) of the coupling shield () to pull it towards the bracket (). The first coupling mechanism () is transferred into a coupling position to couple it the second coupling mechanism ().

Device for coupling a universal joint shaft with a power take-off shaft of a tractor

A coupling, used in drivelines or for driving agricultural implements, has a first coupling element () and a second coupling element (). An actuating element () is axially displaceable relative to the first coupling element () between a switched-on position and a switched-off position. A power drive () actively displaces the actuating element (). The power drive () loads the actuating element () in the switched-on position against an abutment mechanism (). A first spring (), in the switched-on position of the actuating element (), loads the friction assembly (). This enables the friction assembly () to assume the torque transmitting position.

Coupling

A torque limiting coupling has a first coupling hub () with first driving members (), and a second coupling hub () with second driving members (). The hubs () are jointly received in a coupling sleeve () and are rotatable independently of one another. When a set torque is exceeded while the first coupling hub () is driven in one of two driving directions of rotation Nor N, the second coupling hub () is subjected to a force which ensures that, in the driving direction of rotation N, the driving members () of the first coupling hub () are transferred into the disconnected position and that, in the driving direction of rotation N, the second driving members () of the second coupling hub () are transferred into the disconnected position.

Torque limiting coupling

A coupling, especially a torque limiting coupling, has a coupling housing ( ) and an inner coupling member ( ) received therein. The inner coupling member ( ) connects to a drive shaft. Torque transmitting elements ( ), active in the form of locking members, are positioned between the inner coupling member ( ) and the coupling housing ( ). The coupling housing ( ) has a connecting bore portion ( ) which receives a connecting portion ( ) of a connecting element ( ). The outer contour ( ) of the connecting portion ( ) follows the inner contour ( ) of the coupling housing ( ) in the area of the connecting bore portion ( ). Thus, radial displacements, circumferential displacements as well as angular displacements are possible between the coupling housing ( ) and the connecting element ( ).

Coupling, especially torque limiting coupling

A coupling assembly for agricultural implements has a friction coupling ( ), an electromagnet ( ) and control mechanism ( ). Coupling assembly for agricultural implements

A protective device for a driving assembly with a double universal joint has a protective cone ( ) made of plastic. At a first axial end, the protective cone ( ) is secured to a bearing assembly ( ). At its second axial end ( ), the protective cone ( ) carries a guiding ring ( ). Folds ( ) are arranged between the axial ends. A hollow-spherical-zone-like inner bearing face ( ) of the guiding ring ( ) is arranged on a spherical outer bearing face ( ) of a bearing race ( ). A sliding ring ( ) in the bearing race ( ) is supported in a bearing groove ( ) of the double yoke ( ) of the double universal joint ( ). The guiding ring ( ) is pre-tensioned by the folds ( ) of the protective cone ( ) and thus held in contact with the outer bearing face ( ). The guiding ring ( ) can be removed from the bearing assembly, thus making components of the double universal joint accessible for maintenance purposes, such as lubrication.

Protective device for a drive assembly with a double universal joint

A protective device for telescopic driveshafts used in driving agricultural implements has two protective tubes (8, 9) which are axially inserted into, and overlap, one another. The tubes (8, 9) are adjustable relative to one another along their longitudinal axis (5) and are made of plastics. The outer protective tube (8) includes three circumferentially distributed pairs of ribs ( 13, 14). The ribs (13, 14) are arranged at a distance from one another and a groove (11) is formed between the ribs (13, 14). Guiding webs (15) are provided between pairs of ribs ( 13, 14). The webs (15) project inwardly towards the longitudinal axis (5) from the inner face (12) of the outer protective tube (8). The webs (15) also project inwardly towards the longitudinal axis (5) and serve to center and radially support the tube (9). The outer face of the outer protective tube has a smooth finish. Thus, there are no projections which may possibly injure the operative when unintentionally rotating the protective device.

Protective device for telescopic shafts

A side strut 6 for the lower steering arm of a three-point attaching device of a tractor is telescopic and has a first telescopic member 14 and a second telescopic member 15 which are able to carry out relative movements relative to one another along an adjustment axis 16. A locking pawl 19 may allow maximum possible relative movement or a limited amount of travel. Complete locking is also possible. For setting the various positions which the locking pawl 19 is able to assume relative to the telescopic members 14, 15, a fixing device 31 is provided which takes account of the respective stop regions 24, 30 for the locking pawl 19 or which, for the purpose of allowing the entire relative movement between the maximum limits, may be disengaged from the locking stops 23. This measure, in addition to permitting standard adjustment within the limits of the usual floating movement, allows a limited floating movement. Furthermore, it achieves complete locking and fixing in this position.
