A device for preparing coffee by manual brewing includes: a filter holder for receiving a filter insert with ground coffee; a holder in which the filter holder is inserted; a vessel arranged under the filter holder into which the brewed coffee can be filled; a drain arranged on the filter holder; and a closure element arranged on the drain for opening and closing the drain. An actuating element for the closure element is provided on the filter holder by which the closure element can be moved between an open position and a closed position independently of the vessel.

Device for preparing coffee

A filter paper insert for producing a brewed beverage includes a first side wall and a second side wall which are respectively connected along opposite sides by one of a seam and a folding edge, and are connected via a bottom seam. The insert has an opening for filling the filter paper insert opposite the bottom seam. The bottom seam has a shape that deviates from a straight line.

A coffee machine includes a brewing unit, a grinding mechanism to process coffee beans into coffee grounds that are used by the brewing unit to brew coffee, and a container for coffee beans. The container has a bottom surface with an outlet opening that leads to the grinding mechanism. The bottom surface is inclined toward the outlet opening and includes ridges extending in a direction of the outlet opening.

Coffee machine

A coffee machine includes a device for supplying hot water to an outlet device. The outlet device is adapted for being arranged above a filter vessel into which a filter paper insert with ground coffee is insertable and for receiving the hot water from the hot water supply. The outlet device has a central outlet opening over a middle region of the filter-paper insert when filled with ground coffee and a plurality of outer outlet openings arranged above a middle region of the side walls of the filled filter-paper insert. A controllable selector switch controls a rate of hot water through individual outlet openings of the outlet device. The controllable selector switch has at least three switching positions for adjusting coffee strength. In all switching positions of the controllable selector switch the hot water is at least partially supplied via the outer outlet openings over the filled filter-paper insert.

Coffee machine and method for operating a coffee machine

A filter vessel for accommodating a filter insert made of water-permeable material and fillable with coffee grounds. The filter vessel includes a bottom; and side walls upwardly extending from the bottom and spreading outwardly. The bottom includes at least two openings through which a filtrate can pass. The bottom includes a separating element in a central region of the bottom. The separating element divides a region above the bottom into two approximately equal sized drainage chambers. Each drainage chamber includes at least one of the at least two openings for discharging the filtrate.

Filter vessel

A thermos flask comprises a container, which has an opening on a top side, at which opening a lid is retained, which closes the opening in a closing position and can be at least partially moved by means of an actuating element in order to partially open the opening in order to pour out liquid. The lid has an upper part fastened to the container and a lower part pivotably retained on the upper part.

A thermos flask comprises a container that has, on the upper side, an opening on which a lid is held. The lid closes the opening when in a closed position and is able to be at least partially moved by means of an actuation element in order to partially release the opening such that liquid can be poured out. The lid is able to be placed on a receiving portion of the container and is held in the closed position by means of a detent.

An arrangement for a coffee machine includes a filter holder adapted to receive a filter to be filled with ground coffee. The filter holder includes an outlet below which a container to be filled with coffee may be positioned. A bracket is arranged on the coffee machine. The bracket and coffee holder are constructed so that the filter holder is removably attached to the bracket. A locking mechanism is attached to the bracket to lock the filter holder in a locked position when the container to be filled with coffee is arranged below the outlet.

A flow-through heater includes a heating element and a liquid-bearing tube connected to the heating element. The liquid-bearing tube has a flat area on which a thermostat is mounted.

A portion package for making an aromatic beverage includes a dish-shaped lower part having a bottom presenting a bottom surface, and a circumferential side wall extending from the bottom and including an outwardly extending edge at an upper end thereof. The lower part comprises a material having filtering capabilities. The circumferential side wall includes at least two oppositely located side walls converging in a wedge-shaped manner. The edge extends parallel to the bottom surface. A lid lies on the edge of the lower part and is bonded thereto.

Portion package and apparatus for making an aromatic beverage

A pre-measured portion package for preparing a brewed beverage having a container for being filled with a pre-measured portion of an aroma carrier. The container has a circumferential side wall, a bottom, and a lid. The side wall and the bottom are formed of a single piece of material that is water permeable and capable of filtering; at least the side-wall is compacted to be water impermeable; at least a section of the bottom is water permeable and functions as a filter. The lid is also formed of a material that is water permeable and capable of filtering, is compacted in its circumferential edge region to be water impermeable, and is connected to an upper edge of the side wall to form a seal.

An arrangement for producing a brewed beverage, in particular coffee, with the arrangement comprising an approximately truncated-cone shaped filter receptacle for holding a cone-shaped filter insert and a water intake device that is arranged above the filter receptacle and is provided with a water distributor having a plurality of flow-through openings on a side facing the filter receptacle with one flow-through opening be located in the center of the projection surface for the water distributor and the filter receptacle. Additional flow-through openings are arranged along a peripheral line, for which the course approximately corresponds to the peripheral outline of a projection surface for the filter receptacle inside space in the lower to mid-level region of the filter receptacle.
