An on-load tap-changer includes: a main path with a first connection; and an auxiliary path with a second connection. One module is configured be connected to each of the first and second connections.

A resistor assembly can be used in a tap changer. The resistor assembly may include: a resistor element, which is held by at least two resistor holders; a base plate with at least one opening and on which the at least two resistor holders holding the resistor element are arranged; a plurality of guides, respectively formed in each of the resistor holders and being configured to position a first end and a second end of the resistor element with respect to a longitudinal direction between the two resistor holders; and contact points of the resistor element, the contact points being electrically contacted by contacts of the tap changer in a condition where the resistor element is inserted into the resistor holder.

An on-load tap changer has: a first selector rod and a second selector rod; a load changeover-switch rod; a switch; and a transmission. The first selector rod, the second selector rod and the load changeover-switch rod are arranged collinearly. The transmission is configured to: move the first selector rod and the second selector rod during changeover from one selector contact to an adjacent selector contact in a first direction; and move the load changeover-switch rod during the changeover in the first direction and a second direction, which is opposite to the first direction, so as to actuate the switch.

A network node for a substation or a local network station has a control transformer with a primary side and a secondary side, an input line connected to the primary side, and an output line connected to the secondary side. A protective switch is provided in the input line or in the output line, and a sensor detects an electrical parameter in the input line or in the output line and generate a measurement signal. A controller coupled to the control transformer, to the protective switch, and to the sensor, serves to operate the control transformer in dependence on the measurement signal such that the control transformer has a predetermined transmission ratio and open the protective switch in dependence on the measurement signal as soon as the control transformer has the predetermined transmission ratio.

The invention relates to a tap changer having vacuum interrupters for switching over between winding taps of a tapped transformer without interruption. The tap changer according to the invention having vacuum interrupters is based on the general idea of combining the functionalities of at least one conventional vacuum switching contact which switches under load and a further mechanical switching means according to the prior art in just one single vacuum interrupter with two separately moving contact systems.

The invention relates to a tap changer for the interruption-free switchover between winding taps of a tap-changing transformer. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a novel vacuum interrupter which is particularly suitable for such a tap changer. The tap changer according to the invention is based on the general concept of combining in each case one main contact (V1) and one mechanical switching means (U1), connected in series therewith, of a first load branch and an additional resistive contact (V3) of a second load branch in only a single vacuum interrupter () with a common housing ().
