In an exhaust manifold for an internal combustion engine including a central part with tow exhaust gas flow ducts extending from the central part in opposite directions for collecting exhaust gas from first and respectively second cylinder groups of the engine, the center part includes a first control valve for controlling the exhaust gas flow from the first and the second cylinder groups to first and second turbine inlet flow passages, a second control valve for controlling the exhaust gas pressure and a third control valve for controlling the exhaust gas recirculation rate.

In a centrifugal oil separator for blow-by gases of an internal combustion engine comprising a rotating component which has at least one inflow port for the introduction of blow-by gases from the crankcase of the internal combustion engine, at least a first outflow port for the discharge of air and at least a second outflow port for the discharge of oil, and also a driveshaft () driving the rotating component for driving the rotating component, the driveshaft of the rotating component is connected via a mechanical coupling to a transmission driven by a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine.

Centrifugal oil separator for blow-by gases of an internal combustion engine

In an internal combustion engine with a motor brake, includes an exhaust gas turbocharger and a power turbine disposed in the exhaust gas discharge line from the turbocharger for the conversion of the energy remaining in the exhaust gas into usable energy, the exhaust gas line includes bypass openings with a bypass line for the exhaust gas to by-pass the power turbine, and the turbine of the turbocharger includes inlet passages for the admission of the exhaust gas to the exhaust gas turbine, a slide-control member is supported by the exhaust gas line so as to be movable between an end position in which the turbine inlet openings are uncovered and an opposite end position in which the turbine inlet openings are covered and the by-pass openings of the power turbine are uncovered so that the exhaust gas can by-pass the power turbine.
