A drive system, in particular for a self-propelled construction machine, in particular a soil compactor, comprises a drive unit, at least one hydraulic circuit with a hydraulic pump driven by the drive unit, a hydraulic drive support unit with a hydraulic pump/motor assembly, and at least one pressure fluid reservoir, wherein the hydraulic pump/motor assembly is, or can be, drivingly coupled with the drive unit and/or at least one hydraulic circuit, wherein the hydraulic pump/motor assembly can be operated in a charging operating mode by the drive unit and/or at least one hydraulic circuit as a pump to charge at least one pressure fluid reservoir, and be driven in a drive support operating mode as a motor to provide a drive support torque for the hydraulic pump of at least one hydraulic circuit, characterized in that the hydraulic pump/motor assembly is operated in a recirculation operating mode as a pump to convey fluid out of a fluid reservoir and into a fluid reservoir.

A control valve for a hydraulic adjuster for the camshaft of an internal combustion engine is provided, wherein an actuator acts on a pressure part () embedded in a control piston (). In order to prevent the piston () from being blocked in the valve housing by the expansion thereof caused by the pressure part embedment, the pressure part () and/or the control piston () is/are provided with radial recesses () in the embedment area () which make it possible to limit joining forces and the resulting radial expansion of the piston (). Alternatively or in addition, the external surface of the control valve () has a reduced cross-section in the embedment area ().

An electromagnetic actuating unit () of a hydraulic directional control valve () is provided having an armature () which is arranged such that it can be axially displaced within an armature space (), and includes a pole core () which is arranged in a receptacle () and delimits the armature space () in a movement direction of the armature (). Constructions are provided in order to avoid deposits on a guide surface of the armature (), as a result of which the dynamics and the response behavior of the actuating unit () are increased and hysteresis effects and the risk of a malfunction of the actuating unit are minimized.

A filter () is arranged between the hydraulic connector (P) and the operative connectors (A, B).

Control valve for a device to modify the timing of an internal combustion engine

An internal-combustion engine with a device for adjusting the rotational angle (camshaft adjuster ()) of a camshaft () relative to a crankshaft is provided. The device comprises a driving wheel () connected in a rotationally locked way to the crankshaft, a driven part () connected in a rotationally locked way to the camshaft (), and an adjusting mechanism, with which the phase position between the crankshaft and camshaft () can be set and maintained in a certain range of angles. A reduction of the required axial structural space of the camshaft adjuster () and the number of individual parts is achieved in that the driven part () is fixed to the camshaft () with a frictional, positive-fit, or interference-fit connection.
