A process for producing plate springs or undulating springs wherein surface regions which are subjected to tensile stresses when the spring is under load are provided with an internal compressive stress in the boundary layer, wherein said surface regions are rollingly compressed by a ball or roller or subjected to tensile stress and compressed by shot peening.

The invention relates to a head rest carrying element which is produced out of a tubular member and which, can be connected to a seat at one end, and which carries a head rest at its second end. The tubular member is produced by being formed out of a flexibly rolled strip material with a variable wall thickness. Furthermore, the invention relates to a process of producing such a head rest carrying element.

The invention describes a device for the assembly and disassembly of a fastening device, more preferably of a rail fastening device on a support body, wherein the device is designed as screw adapter and the screw adapter is to be placed on the rail fastening device. The invention is based on developing a device for the assembly and disassembly of a rail fastening device which sits on the fastening device with an accurate fit and largely guarantees automated screwing in and screwing out of the fastening device in existing engagement stages. According to the invention this is achieved in that the screw adapter comprising an engagement pin at its stem, in the contact surface of its main body possesses a centrally arranged recess to accommodate the head of a fastening element, wherein the main body on both sides next to this recess comprises two mounting pockets designed trough-shaped as well as a stop.

The invention relates to fixing means for fixing railway lines to sleepers or stretches of track, comprising an elastic rail clip () and a clip anchor element (). According to the invention, the elastic rail clip () has retaining elements that can be inserted into the clip anchor element () and guided into the latter by being rotated about a rotational axis (D) and at least one pressure bow (), which can be brought into pre-tensioned contact with the foot () of a railway line (), when the elastic rail clip is rotated () about the rotational axis (D) in relation to the clip anchor element (). The elastic rail clip () has essentially annular clip bows () that act as the retaining elements and the clip anchor element () has guide elements () that are concentric with the rotational axis (D).
